  1. Hi DougMJr, the terrain and environment and waterfalls etc, inTPS are all rendered by the powerful Vista Studio engine. The good news is, unlike RCT, the in-game engine rendering can be controlled and tweaked by you. You can change wind speed, (tress and bushes sway accordingly) water flow and many other features. So to some degree you will be able to control your own environment instead of having preset limitations as in RCT. There will me some options in the game for terrain texture etc., enough to get you started for sure, but the real options for background and environmental design and the key that will unlock the gates of players imagination is the ease that custom community designed scenery and rides, not only can be made with the Vista Studio engine, but can also be very easily be imported. There will be an official exchange site at the TPS website and I suppose other places as well, that will soon after release be offering a considerable menu of many more environment and texture options along with rides, parks, scenery etc. We at TPS really think this approach is the next level of theme park simulations and allows the player a whole new level of playability... Welcome to the future.
  2. ^ No cards are charged or funds accepted if the TPS Kickstarter goals are not met. If they are met, your card will be charged for amount pledged, right after project closes on May 20th. If we don't make goal you will have an extra little $$ to buy yourself something nice with. For more information on funding you can go . HERE.
  3. My name is Boomer, I am on the TPS development team. At Theme Park Studio we love teasers, so we're going to give you a couple good ones right now! Although you have a clue you can see ^ I have two you can't see. Waiting right in front of you under wraps sets a HUGE TPS announcement. It's about more then just a new in-game ride video, it's MUCH more. In the next few days and possibly as soon as tomorrow (Friday, April 12), we are going to "pull off" the veil to reveal this big announcement for all "the World" to see. You can see this reveal at the TPS website, in the social media and thousands of other places scattered across Europe, South America and the U.S.A. Our first clue for you right now is to keep looking up as this big announcement is... ready to launch! Our second clue is: It has nothing to do with motorcycles but you may need a little kick start to open the gates of your imagination. Good luck and... welcome to the future.
  4. The vids look great, but I'm still spinning from the pregnant lady walk through in Mexico. My wife just walking by my computer stopped short and with a baffled look said, "wait... what? After checking it out closer we both agreed that a theme park called "Women's World" is long overdue here in the states. Just a big ol rollercoaster, a lot of shoe stalls and even more restrooms, would pretty much be all you would need. Throw in a pregnant lady walk through and a few lipstick and mirror dispensers and the place would be packed. I know I would go... with my wife... of course!
  5. Hi Robb, it's me Boomer from TPS and I just stumbled in here by accident but imeedeatly fell in love with this site! Being the old man that I am I move slow and have gotten used to usually being the last person on the planet to stumble into anywhere that's cool. This site is cool, even though apparently I am the last human being alive to have found TPR... as usual! Anyway, not really here to ask you anything, just wanted to check in and say hey. I've been wandering around these vast, wonderful and colorful rooms and halls of TPR and forums and for some reason even the many donkeys roaming around here seem to be strangely... not weird. (well maybe that one was, just a little) I will be around a lot now though because to tell you the truth, the "spirit" of this place is amazingly similar to the spirit inside of me. Anyway, I'll be easy to spot, even amongst all the donkeys, I'm the old man slowly wandering around everywhere, dazed and confused, drooling and talking to myself, but with a smile on my face so big it actually leaves my face on both sides. Congrats on a very cool place my friend keep up the good work... or should I say play. ---Boomer---
