Shambhala?
I don't think so, shambhala would look like that:

If i was to say an hyper i'd say apollos chariot but I know it isn't maybe it's a woodie

^He rode it!
wow and was the boomerang rougher than coaster express?? :O
-
Nice pics! I went to the park in 2007 and 2008 and it was also rather empty (especially in 2007) so it's interesting to know it hasn't changed much.
It's a shame that Stunt Fall has gotten bad, when I rode it it was great and packed a nice punch, making it a pretty good ride! Coaster Express, on the other hand, is the worst coaster I have ever ridden: it gave me a terrible headache because it was super super and, one more SUPER rough. And then there is the fact that the layout itself isn't great either. So if yo say Hades 360 is even worse, I can only imagine...
How was superman running? I'm interested as it is kind of a special coaster for me as it was my first properly big one and for a long time, my favourite. (and, yeah... you can tell by my avatar picture)
I'm not sure he rode Coaster express as he said "looks like pain" as if he hadn't rode it.

Bucket of death and also the plane on a stick!

^lol I just happened to be on the page at the right time. Rare opportunity!
Pretty sure Megafobia is correct, so I'll go ahead.
This one is meant to be tricky. Two clues right now - 1) Not in USA, 2) Steel. I can give away more later, if needed.
First time uploading anything, so let's see if this works...
more clues pleeease! country or manufacturer or something

Huh, it kinda does. It's like the uncanny valley for B&Ms. It should be a big roller coaster, but it's not. It does look a little...odd.
uncanny valley for B&M absolutely!! also the supports look strange too
-
in the official artwork it had 6 beams too (its only an artwork though)

Taken from RCT4's facebook:
"We hear everyone's comments on the new RollerCoaster Tycoon game and want to let you all know that the mobile game and PC experience will be 2 completely different games. Both games will release this year. The mobile game will include social features (sharing with friends, leaderboards) and the PC experience will have even more features and functionality. We are excited to bring these games to you soon!"
First, they say they are completely different games, BUT then they say the PC version will have more features and functionality... that's like saying it will be the same game, just with more stuff... So don't expect the PC version to be very different from the mobile one

I think I'll just stick to Rct 2...You'd think they would have learned their lesson with the release of the abysmal Rct 3.
RCT2 is still the best release thus far. A lot of people liked 3 for some unknown reason but I thought it was horribly executed.
Why? whats wrong with it?

^So that makes it around 22 million euros, still cheaper than shambhala. I guess they could have gone for the record if they wanted to (which would have been just brutal) but I'm not complaining about this one.
Roller coasters have a tendency to cost less in the US than Europe and Australia.
just.. why?
-
So coasters were cheaper back then?? I thought it was the opposite given that the technology is the same but years later... just like for example computers and phones

As someone who has actually ridden Shambhala, I think it's fully deserving of its high ranking. I preferred it to Nemesis but would put it behind Expedition GeForce, so these results reflect my opinion quite nicely.
I think it's worth saying that I didn't expect Shambhala to be that great at all. Having ridden Silverstar and finding it forceless and boring I was expecting more of the same, but Shambhala pleasantly surprised me. It's not an intense coaster as such but the first drop lasts forever and the amount of sustained floater airtime it offers is incredible. And for people that say that B&M don't do ejector airtime, the speed hill has it in spades.
Shambhala is like a refined cocktail of airtime. An Intamin coaster such as EGF is more like a hard spirit. If you don't go for cocktails, that's fine but that doesn't mean the people that do are wrong to do so. In any case, I'd recommend riding it before passing judgement, it definitely surprised me.
Everything I've heard and read suggests the same thing, that Shambala is a bit of an exception to the rule for new B&M Hypers. Looking forward to trying it out next month to make up my own mind.
not really an exception to the rule but it is more intense than the others and has a wider collection of different types of airtime...

I guess I better do my ballot soon!
2 days left...
btw when do results come up??

One of my friends actually fell asleep on Nitro during an ERT session!
Falling asleep on pretty much any coaster indicates tiredness more than anything else.
actually that means its smooth, you wont sleep on an slc even if its boring becouse of the roughness

^Yes, but you have hot Northern European women on your doorstep.
Hot Northern European Women>>>>>>>>>>>>Ntag, Irat, Orun

it seems i305 is going to win
Remember we can only see the people that have posted there's in this thread! It'll probably go very high again, (was #3 in 2010) but I don't know if anything will overtake Bizarro.
Curious to see where Skyrush will fall, as well as Leviathan and Shambhala.
based on what ive seen in this thread (i know its not enough) but bizarro seems to be lower than it used to...
about skyrush, shambhala and leviathan i'm pretty sure they will all rank high

I just got back from my Region VII 4A swim meet in San Antonio, however a drive-by near Fiesta Texas was not on the itinerary. I really wanted to see this monster of a coaster up close in person. I'm real happy with the way the coaster is coming out. It looks like construction is moving along quite swiftly. It won't be long until opening day!
As for the train design, that rattlesnake head on the front of the front car looks awesome! I'm not big with themed coaster trains, I prefer generic, but it looks awesome! Gerstlauer has done an excellent job so far on IRat and did great on NTAG. This coaster is going to turn out great!
Gerstlaurer??
-
B&M: Regarding Leviathan, how is that each train has 8 rows instead of 9, like other B&M hyper models that feature these old-generation trains?
It may just be becouse this one is a giga, maybe as airtime isn't that important in gigas shorter trains are fine...?
or maybe for the same reason Dragon Khan has seven rows instead of 8 (like all the other B&M loopers do).

Roughness of it doesn't bother me (adds to the experience in my opinion!) but fantastic news that it's back up and running again
It didn't use to bother me either. But trust me, last time I rode Furius Baco it was *that* bad. Just to make it easier to understand, Stampida was SMOOTH glass compared to Baco last time I rode. So rough and shaky that gave me a splitting headache for the rest of the day...
same here man, i even enjoyed stampida after baco... maybe if i hadn't rode at the edges it would have been better but it was one of my worst experiences on a roller coaster :/ so sad
-
Anyone know if Baco is back up and running yet, or not?
it is running again, and extremely rough as usual

I don't know what Tibidabo has to do with Terra mitica but the tibidabo ride that collapsed was also a bad design. It was both a bad design and poor maintenance what caused the accident.
