I always thought that looked like they built the ride, and then Wonderland said "actually, can we have that loop a smidge smaller please"!? The Missile at the American Adventure looked pretty crap soon after it started to fade, considering the colours where not that hot to start with... http://www.rcdb.com/ig807.htm?picture=12 - that taken before the main colour became brown (rust/oxidisation).
