  1. Theoretically, the next million posts will come in 3-4 years due to the exponential growth of the Roller Coaster enthusiasts in our world (considering that this website took off 6 years ago).
  2. Does anyone know how LONG Goliath's drop is? I know its a 255 elevation difference, but doesn't the angle of the drop make the drop length somewhere around 300 feet? (Think of it like this, a 1 mile long 10 foot first drop) EDIT- Also, has anyone also noticed the new ACE signs at the park? There is an "ACE Coaster Classic" sign with a bunch of info next to Revoulution. And TV's in the lines have interviews with ACERS. It's strange, coaster enthusiasts lives shouldn't be exposed to the public like that. Embarrassing much? "hi, sir what do you do for fun!" "I...um...I ride and argue about roller coaster rides" "oh...that's cool...I guess" *goes blabbering on about airtime and G-Forces*
  3. Ok, ok I'm going to be the one to say it. What an awesome fucking park.
  4. ^ I completely agree, but boy what a challenge that would be! I mean, they would have to increase the height so it can be well marketed, so the image how insane they need to change the turns to accomodate for the speed? I wouldn't be surprised if they make them go over and under each other like a DNA strand.
  5. I suggest someone who lives near the park and has a Season Pass, to go up to the top of Sky Tower and take any photos you can of the Green Lantern construction. We WILL love you! Also, who else thinks that turning Colossus into a Hybrid rocky mountain ride will cause it to run one track only?
  6. I don't think that Six Flags has the Buy 1 Get 1 Free Coke-Can deal anymore. Too many Season Pass, online discounts, and coupons available for them to do it anyways.
  7. I hope they move Riddler's Revenge into the Dc Universe area, or conjoin the Movie District with the Backlot. (poor goldrusher ) Oh, and they should have a multiple-launch coaster (ala cheetah hunt) themed after the Flash. hehe.
  8. Let's not get crazy... Why am I crazy. It's my opinion . I personally had more fun on S: EFK than I ever did on Xcelerator.
  9. TTD > S: EFK > Xcelerator > Kingda Ka I think S: EFK has a very high acceleration now. Before it was like...6 seconds to get to 80 mph. Now its like 100 in three seconds (at least it feels like it) and the rest of the track is just the extra 4 MPH that it uses to make it to the top! lol
  10. Am I the only one that ranks S: EFK above TTD on their top 10 Steel coasters now? S: EFK being at #10. The launch is better, the drop is straight and feels bigger. Anyone else?
  11. I don't mind one-train operation when the park is dead empty (the best time! ) But seriously. During Spring Break!? The lines are long enough as it is, why make it longer by having 6 rides in one train operation? (not counting De Ja Vu and Superman, duh ) Also I want to point out that on sunday, no rides broke down. Only problem was on X2, someone had trouble getting out of her seat and stalled the line for 8 minutes.
  12. Ok, so you see that X2 was barely even worth the wait. Apocalypse was a 3 hour wait. One train operation. To me, that is an absolute outrage.
  13. Just wondering, why is this ride's acronym NTAG? New Texas Giant NT-G? NTAG? New TexAs Giant New Texas Airtime Giant
  14. Just came back from the park, it was Easter Sunday. First off, I got there an hour after the park opened and it was PACKED. And I mean PAAACKED. I had to wait 30 minutes to get my season pass processed. Went over to X2, 2.5 hour line, rode it in the back, great ride. Barely worth the wait. Headed over to Viper, walk-on, as always a great choice to ride. Went to Apocalypse............ o m g the line was absoulutely the most unbearable thing I have ever endured. 1 Train, slow workers, a lot of people wanting to get on, and a pre-show thats holding the line even further back. Believe me, if they just let us walk through the pre-show, the line would take 1 hour less than what it was today (almost 3 hours). Going up the lift hill you can see all of Green Lanterns supports and track. Wish I brought my camera INSIDE the park! The ride itself was nowhere near worth it. Still great tho, but the annoying line and the annoying children in front of me.... ON TO SUPERMAN Right off the bat, when i parked in at the part, they were DUAL LAUNCHING FULL SPEED to the edge of the brakes. This continued for most of the day, and every launch I saw reached the top of the tower. The line took 40 mintues since I chose to ride the front, which is great since there is nothing in front of you on the tower. The launch was amazing and the height was incredible to say the least. After the ride though, I had this weird feeling as if internally i had been smashed with a sledgehammer. Pain went away in a few minutes, not sure why I had it. When I was going from Goliath to Revolution , I'm pretty sure I saw Road Runner Express. Lots of track on it. I might be mistaken... but I'm pretty sure I saw RRE half built. Overall an OK day. went on X2, Viper, Apocalypse, S: EFK, Goliath, and Revolution. Average line wait time was 2 hours. Nightmare for us enthusiasts no doubt. Good thing I only really came to go on Superman, and it was worth it.
