Danquixote

There were a few things I was hoping for in the 50th anniversary as well; a return of the Spee- lunkers, bringing back the original theming (waterfall) and repairing much of the existing theming on the Mine Train, some enhancements to the Log Flumes, SOMETHING in Ft. St, Louis (France) (Can we say perhaps an awesome re imagining of Skull Island?) BUT- this TG overhaul is a pretty big helping of AWESOME- I can't WAIT!

I think part of it is the missing helix around the lift hill..plus much of the ride is a LOT closer to the ground. I guess it just doesn't seem as bulky- it does however already give me butterflies- some of those turns are just beautiful!

I was at the park about a month ago- I was quite excited to see the new Giant taking shape. This will be one hell of a ride! Part of me, however, will miss some of the elements that made up the old ride- is it just me or does it not feel as MASSIVE as it once did? (even with the higher lift hill) Even so, I am excited!
