That building is called Marina Bay Sands. Where Universal Singapore is located is at Resorts World Sentosa, its a private property owned by the Genting group. Sentosa Island is owned by the Singaporean Government (*i think). Sentosa before Universal was lame, terrible simulators, lame mockups, a huge merlion (*replica), and an amazing water fountain show (*demolished down for USS). The fountain show is now replaced with a childish and lame show, waste of my time and money. Theres Wave House,you know fake waves. Sentosa is a place for Relaxation at the beaches, more of a recreational place. RWS (Resorts World at Sentosa) is more a theme park place. With overpriced hotels, worlds most expensive Japaese food (about USD$463 per person for tasters menu), new Joel Robuchon restaurants, a show at the Lake of dreams which is ok. Yes, ive been there over 20 times, season pass: Thats not actually mine but i got it from Dejiki (lazy for taking pics) Also, Waterworld is part of Lost World or Jurassic Park

I'm a new member and also Annual Pass Holder to USS (Universal Studios Singapore). Well some of the AP gang says that Casino is their umber one priority, thats wrong! Genting Group(currently owner of USS) has very bad Public Relations. We are expecting all the rides to open by 2012. NBC Universal has taken over MACA(Madagascar: A Crate Adventure),BSG(Battlestar Galactica) and Transformers: The Ride. Genting used to plan for cheaper alternatives but Universal rejected and took over these rides. I'll be giving updates, all the RWS Facebook page fans, pls PM me.
