I went tuesday and it was running did shut down for a restraint issue they had when i was next in line. A couple of hours the had it up and shocking the rest of the day

king running backwards!!!!!!!!! Im in. I havnt been to any of the SF Fright Fest and im excited to see how they do it.

It seems a lot of rides get bad reps for people doing something stupid like hoping the fence to get a hat a getting beheaded or squirming out of restraints and end up dieing. Im sorry but if dumb enough to do that crap then you kind of deserve it. Darwin at it's best

Dumb question 1: I just joined the forum today can I come, KD is one of my home parks and I want to get a chance at ert on I305? Dumb question 2 : I have 4 People that want to come but are not members of tpr or part of the forum can they come with me and does the $45 include admission to the park??? Dumb Question 3: Is there still space available?

Last week i didnt notice anything rotting behind the batwing and was sad to see them load up two face. I know it wasnt anything to write home about but still loved it for some odd reason

Personally Im Not a huge fan of the stand up's but i still ride them for the expirence. So im glad KD still has there's, I feel it gives them diversity to there coasters. All they need now is a lay down flying coaster. Didnt shockwave kill someone way back when????

what arrow are they storing???? i'll be honest i dont remember them having one since it was adventure world, i think it was called python, it was a push loop thing. Good for a starter coaster but nothing to rave about even back then

Just got back from my first trip to SFGAdv. All I have to say is WOW. My home parks, SFA and KD, have nothing on this park. Unfortunately the couple I went with where not coaster people but by the end of the night we finally got them to go on some, so i didn't get to ride superman: UF. King Da Ka was out of comission all day except for the last hour the park was opened, i got the last two rides of the night. I'm sure this is going to start a fight but i liked KIng Da KA better then Top Thrill sorry cedar point fans. El Toro is freaking sweet, nitro rocked my face and bizzaro is fun as hell, glad the fire wasn't working cause it was so damn hot that day. Lines were not long at all, longest wait was only 45 min for bizzaro. You have actual restaurants with good food, polite patrons and ride ops that enjoy there job and make you want to act "crazy go nuts". Unfortunately they did nickle and dime me to death but that seems to be a recurring theme throughout SF parks. You all up there in that area are extremely lucky to have such a great park I pray SFA gets the much needed love that this park has and gets. Im planning on going back in Oct. for their Fright Fest, is it worth the trip????

With GASM closing for the arrival of chang it would be great to fix her up a little and move it down to us. I think a classic arrow would be great addition to the park and could bring in coaster enthusiast from across the country so they can ride one of the original mega coasters. I know it's not going to happen and probably not as cost effective as just scrapping it. A woodie to rival EL Toro would be nice to, i know with the price of steel sky rocketing a lot of new additions to parks are going to be wood. But El Toro proves woodies are not dead.

last summer middle of the week we would have walk-on volcano all the time at most 15min wait. infact all last summer lines at all the parks i visited were short. the longest i remember waiting was an hour for mellenimum force and top thrill dragster but thats expected.

I know it's late in the season but first trip to kd this year is now over, looking forward to many more. Maybe its me but it felt like all the rides are less intense this season, except for the grizzly a night (still one of my fav's). I305 was great,i did expect more air time but i guess it diminished the air after slowing it down. Would have loved to ride it at full speed. Volcano was down all day....SHOCKER. Still one of my favorite parks

This is my first post just wanted to say hi to everyone as sfa is my home park. Anyone know if the tony hawk spin coaster is a definite replace for two face???? Now i've seen a lot of trash talk about SFA and how its a crumby park with lots of problems and it seems that everyone one's answer to make the park great is a new giga coaster. Personally yes i think it's time for a new coaster, but it is not the only problem with the park. First when i go a park i get much enjoyment from the overall experience not just the rides. So to me theaming, enthusiastic staff, food/restaurants and shows are a big part of what makes a great park. To start out with the last couple of years the park has seemed run down and tired. Jokers jinx and mind eraser are good examples of this. Also only a few of the park employees have been doing the high fives most of the ride operators make me feel I'm an inconvience to them. Next what happened to the batman show, the others are great and enjoy taking a break from the crowd to watch em. Now the biggest problem i have with sfa is one, the rides are always breaking down through out the day, i go to the park atleast every other week and every time atleast one or two of the coasters have been shutdown. The next big problem i have is the general public themselves, most of the patrons there are rude, pushy, and have no respect for anyone this results in trash just thrown on the ground, cutting lines, and fights breaking out. If they could just fix some of these issues i think we would have a great park. NOt to mention all six flags nickle and dime you to death ( dollar one time use lockers)
