I do that drive every year in August, but do it from Knoebels to Cedar Point. I spend my first half of vacation camping at Knoebels and leave Sunday morning around 9am and end up in Sandusky, check in to the campground and go to the park by 4. So if you leave by 9 am that should give you a good 6 to 7 hours in the park. I think that is plenty of time considering that even a busy August Saturday the line are 15-20 maybe 30 mins tops (not including Flying Turns).

Has anyone stayed at the campground in their own trailer with dogs? I see on the booking site that it says dogs can't be left unattended. I asked them and was just told it was not allowed; this is the first campground that I came across that says you can't leave them unattended. Last year we ended up staying at Camp Sandusky because there was no space at Cedar Point.

Yea Monday I was there it's totally removed and they have a small band organ on its sight. Unlike last year they don't have a sign there saying what's up.

Did I miss something or go crazy? What happen to PowerSurge, it was there and open the weekend after opening and now is gone again.

That does make sense that you get hit with all the medical bills then decide that oh no I can't afford this stupid mistake. On the other hand I just read the article again it said this happened June 27, 2012, WTF?! Almost two years later they decide to sue the park? Just imagine if these people spend a few nights in the campground what they could have fell over in the campground.
