Spoiler alert it's Drachen Fire relocated.

Hey Brad! Funny thing...I was actually at Gilroy Gardens on that same day too! I actually see myself in a lot of your photographs there. The one you took of the back seat of Goldrusher? I'm the guy in the red jacket at the front of the train.

^I got a good laugh out of the Towel dispenser 12 feet off the ground XD

I believe the top one is a Huss Breakdance and the Bottom one is a Huss Airboat

Awesome to see a POV, looks like a great ride.

Awesome looking cars!

There supposedly going to be a CityWalk announcement on December 12th. What do you guys think it is? Also, doesn't that fit the announcement timeline for the US Thrill Ride's Polercoaster Announcement?
I think a Polercoaster at CityWalk could be a really unique addition. Who knows if it will actually be that, but I'll cross my fingers and hope for it.

I feel like I was one of the few people who really liked Windseeker a lot. It was a pretty unique ride and gave some amazing views of the area without being overly intense. The line was always short because of how ridiculously high capacity it was and it was a great ride to relax on after lunch before going back to the coasters. You got a bird's eye view of Knott's that I'm going to miss.

I remember on that same 2005 trip, we had to wait to go on Psyclone because weren't enough people to cycle the ride. then needed seven and there were only 3 of us.
I remember seeing the structure for the ride move a good foot laterally left and right when it came rushing by. I was still a pretty young kid then so I didn't grasp that "Wooden coasters probably should be moving that much"

I think it's a possibility that we could see wave jumper moved to within the Looney Tunes Seaport area.

Saw on the website. What's the pool?Mystery pool between waterpark & Pirate Reef.
Looks like another more toddler/young children friendly pool area. Or perhaps it could be the wave pool. There was concept art for the new area posted on Facebook today:

Excellent looking coaster!
Will there actually be any fire effects added or is this the final look?
There were some fire effects in the CGI POV, and I've seen some marketing copy which mentions fire, but they don't appear to have been turned on yet.
Looking forward to seeing it with fire.

This remind me of the time I went to the park in 2005 late summer.
There was no one in the park, and as we headed towards the back, a Ride Op was sitting over by Déjà-Vu and asked us if. I wanted to ride. I was about 4-5 inches too short.
Then the ride op said: Oh it doesn't matter really! Come on in! Needless to say I didn't ride it that day, but it still a pretty weird encounter.

I think we'll eventually see one, yes. Why? it's the longest running Sci-Fi show in history. The brand has serious staying power, and right now a very large amount of people who love it. Who knows who will pick it up, but I think it's really only a matter of "time".

I hope we do see some scenery changes to the station of the Bat along with the name change. Maybe to fit more the style of Banshee's?
-
I really enjoyed Frozen. Definitely breaks free of a lot of Disney Princess movie cliques, with the love aspect taking a backseat to the relationship between Anna and her older sister Elsa.

Chima is a new extension of the existing water park, and Legoland has not announced a price change for the water park at this time.
Also, the tree lighting ceremony this Thursday evening is going to feature Elizabeth Banks, the actor who plays Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games Movies.

^ I remember those trains, and I'm pretty sure they were not an official Gerstlauer train, it was made by some guy who wanted to work in the industry.
I would guess for a Gerstlauer here, but I would love for it to also be a Mack or Intamin.
The person who made them is a member of this site, he works at Gerstlauer as an industrial designer. These were his personal concept, and not a representation of Gerstlauer's official work. However he is a Gerstlauer a Employee.

So Firechaser Express's trains were finally revealed at IAAPA today. While I really like the locomotive design, I feel the trains would fit the theming better as fire trucks.
I had trouble linking the direct photo from this phone so heres the link instead.
- Can't go wrong with a locomotive design though.
Actually, there's a reason why they are locomotive themed. Who's ready for a history lesson?
I spoke with Anthony Esparza, the VP of Guest Experience/Creative Design for Herschend Family Entertainment, and he shed some light on the ride's historical influence.
Back in the 1930's and 1940's the smokey mountains weren't very accessible by roads, instead, most of the paths through the mountains were traversed by railroads. Whenever a fire broke out up in the mountains, Volunteer Firefighters would take "Fire Trains" up into the hills, get as close as they could to the fire, then take their tools into the forest to fight the fires! So there's actually some real historical significance behind it!
Pretty cool huh?

Cheetah Hunt is worthy of all praise it receives. It really is one of the best overall coasters in the world. Great length, unique forces, fantastic setting and three launches.
-
All I have to say to that is WOW! It looks absolutely fantastic!

Anyone had the opportunity to check out the park today add see what kind of progress was made?

Is the coaster going to be more like bandit bomber then with lazy river interactions? Or are they two separate things?
