Oh man, I'm getting so EXCITED about WCB!!! It's going to be great, because I'll be bringing my girlfriend along... and the only coaster she's been on is the Canyon Blaster at the Adventuredome here in Vegas. Is it wrong of me to be this happy about her eventual screams of terror?

Since this is going to be my first WCB, I was wondering where Katy's Kettle is located. I heard that's where the breakfast is going to be at.

From what I've read on Screamscape, it looks like Superman has a bit of a clearance issue with the new cars. Hopefully, they decide to do something more creative on fixing this problem, like possibly widening the tunnel itself and not go the same route that Dreamworld did with ToT2. Just say NO to "Arm Guards"!!

Here I am riding Ninja on Satuday, May 8th.

I was at the park Saturday and got to ride Ninja. I did notice that out of the two trains that were running, only one of them had the Karate Kid advertisment on it. Another shocking discovery is that they jacked up the price for the X2 add-on with the flash pass. Instead of it being $10, it's now $15. Also, weirdly enough..when I arrived at the park at a little before 10, they were offering wristbands to enter the park prior to opening for just $10.

So, does anyone know if they reopened Ninja yet? Hoping it'll be running when I visit this saturday.

Hey guys, I've got a question regarding the Flash Pass. I'm planning on going to Magic Mountain on the 8th of May for my birthday as a gift from my father and I was wondering if he purchases the Flash Pass for me online, will I have to bring the credit card used for the purchase as proof? I'm just curious how the process works when you order it online because of the fact that my father wont be tagging along with me for the trip, due to his age and the fact that he's not much of a coaster fan himself.

Well, it's probably rough due to its age. I went back when they first opened it and it was awesome. But yeah, I've heard a lot of people complain about it being a little rough. Now the biggest joke for a coaster was the High Roller up on the top of the Stratosphere. They finally got rid of it, but man.. it was totally lame.

I think probably the best coaster in Vegas, for me, is the Desperado out at Buffalo Bills. Technically it's at the stateline in Jean, NV.. but it's still really awesome.

That's great to know. I'm really excited about going. I'm also planning on taking my girlfriend, who apparently hasn't been on many coasters. I took her to ride the Canyon Blaster here in Vegas at the Adventure Dome, which I personally think is a tame coaster compared to the ones at Magic Mountain, and she was terrified to get on it. I'm going to totally love the look on her face when she rides X2.

Yeah, definitely. I'll hopefully be able to ride X2 for the first time... since I never got to ride X! Oh, and I'm definitely looking forward to checking out Tatsu, since I've never ridden a flying coaster.. EVER! I'll also try and ride Deja Vu, hope it's open by the time I go. Also, I have to check out Terminator, never been a huge fan of woodies but I've heard good things about it. I've also got question.. How long does it take to get your Q-Bot when standing in line for the Fast Pass? I've heard people say they've waited an hour or so to get theirs.

I'm actually hoping to go by the end of the month. It's been years since I've been there. The last time I was there was around the time that X first opened.. and I had a horrible experience. Waited hours in line, I would guess maybe 3 hours or so, and by the time I reached near the front of the line, it broke down and they closed it off for the rest of the day. I was so pissed! Especially since I drove all the way from Las Vegas. I'm going back now and definitely getting a Flash Pass this time so something like that doesn't happen again.

Actually, it looks like the Six Flags website updated that change already. I just checked and X2 is the only ride that says that Flash Pass is available for an extra fee.

I actually read on this thread, page 1143 to be exact, that they recently added Terminator Salvation onto the regular Qbot. That would actually be good news since I was not going to fork over another 10 bucks.

Just a one time deal? Well, that just plain sucks. How does that work, anyways? They give ya some sort of voucher or something?
