  1. Sit in row 3 on Viper and you will be very happy you did. I will have to try row 3 at some point, but I love the back. I rode the viper a few weeks ago, I think on Mothers Day, and the train didnt stop at the top of the hill, we just launched right over. Anyone else ever see that. I know its not possible, but that ride always makes me think my hands are gonna get chopped off when I have them up lol.
  2. I would be interested. I was one that emailed you 2 years ago asking about a new volume. Thanks Robb!
  3. I went on the last day of the season about 12 years ago, and the park was open the first weekend in November. I had on a winter coat, but the park was dead. I rode rides, and didn't have to get off. It was pretty great.
  4. Nevermind, it reopened during the day and had over an hour wait. Park must be busy today, even with most of the local kids back in school.
  5. I did this in the early 2000's. I lived across grand avenue and was able to walk to the park. It was balls cold, and I had a winter jacket on. The park was dead. Was able to ride many rides without getting off. I'm surprised they are doing this again.
  6. My sister is at SFGA and not sure why, but X-flight is closed again. It has been closed the last 2 times she has been to the park. Weird.
  7. Anyone know why X-Flight was closed on Thursday and again today?
  8. Four words: BRING A FRIEND FREE Jesus Christ, that was awful. Stay away! lol Thanks for the respone.
  9. went there today. Holy hell, I have never seen the lines that long to get into the park. Even the Discover Card line was back onto the street. The lines went all the way back to the parking lot, and this was at noon. Any idea why today was so insane? Even the rain didn't keep people away. Viper had a 75 min wait.
  10. One of the best times I've ever had at a park was when Great America did Last Blast some time ago. The park was open on the first weekend November and it felt like 11 people (employees included) in the world knew. It was pretty damn cold, there were walk-ons all day, and the season was capped off with a string of laps on Iron Wolf just as some sleet was starting to come down. I was there for this too. The last day the park was open, it was dead as hell. I was able to ride Batman, Whizzer, Demon, Iron Wolf without getting off. The only time I got off was to switch seats. It was cold as hell too, but I had a great time.
