  1. So, it is indeed a bonzai pipeline complex, now where are these teased #coasters Jamie? 2015? or Soon™
  2. Clearly this will be an eXtreme water coaster with 10k eXtreme inversions featuring the first ever eXtreme over the shoulder harnessed inflatable river raft also forgot to mention its an eXtreme twisting coil of thrills at over 70mph.
  3. The "Talent" had priority during media day. They all had a scheduled time for their shoot whether it was on the via satellite train for the news crews or the go pro camera train for the youtubers. Once all the live filming was wrapped up they took the satellite train off and left the go pro camera train until they needed the other train for travel channel to begin shooting. I got 2 rides in on the front car between 2-3pm. Overall it was an amazing experience. Almost half the people that showed up took off after the 1 hour or so lunch break for the ride operators. After that there was almost enough people to fill the 1 train which is where the majority of my rides came in, since no one had to get off. Again it was an amazing time and I can't thank the Fiesta Texas crew enough for the free swag and multiple rides. Sign me up for the next Fiesta Texas media event!
  4. Man what an amazing ride. The fact that 9 months ago if some on told me they rode rattler 10+ times in the same day I'd either call them a liar or they're a masochist. I lost count somewhere in the 20s when we no longer even had to get off of the train. Every seat on this ride is a different experience it is that amazing. I prefer the left side over the right especially in the barrel roll because you almost feel like you will get tossed out. Whereas the right side you just glide right through it which is also awesome. I just can't say enough about this ride from the drop to the overbanks, barrel roll, dive off the quarry and into the tunnel fantastic. Can't wait to hear about RMC's next project or 2 or 3... For those asking about NTAG comparisons, NTAG has more pops of air, but I think iRats pops really keep you out of the seat longer than the giants. They are both must rides but since iRat is 5 hours closer to me than the giant and it has that barrel roll and quarry setting my RMC ranking is iRat at 1a and the giant at 1b Outlaw Run is pending(hopefully not for much longer though)
  5. Ill be there on media day as well. Running on 2 hours of sleep lets do this!
  6. Next Wednesday will not come soon enough, bummed I couldn't get the 8th off to join you guys out there yesterday. All the elements sound incredible, having been on NTAG I simply cannot wait for Iron Rattler media event on the 15th
  7. No email for me yet wonder how many waves of emails they are sending out?
  8. Maybe, another park bought the helix and only the helix. So, both ideas might be right only time will tell. In all seriousness though no park or human being would be ignorant enough to buy The Rattler, well there might be one person...maybe I will start a rumor Jerry Jones is going to buy it and set it on top of Jerry World(Cowboys Stadium.) Having dealt with some of the park employees a few weeks ago I'm going to go with the guy who said they don't know squat.
  9. Why this is I have no idea. A few years ago Poltergeist and Superman probably had the longest lines, at least they did when I went. I was there last Sunday and Rattler only took like 35-40 minutes. Had it not of been for a "something went wrong" or w/e it was that took 10-15 minutes to dispatch another train around 4-4:30pm iirc I would have waited 20 minutes for it. The line was maybe 3/4 up the ramp to the station and the queue inside the station wasn't even being used. I got first car back row after the back filled up first(still don't understand that one). I don't think I need to explain how the ride was, other than it was my last coaster of the day. Only coaster I didn't ride was Goliath, everything else was 10-20 minutes with the exception of Boomerang which took 45 minutes. Can't wait to see whats finally announced for the next Rattler, should be a very interesting rest of the season and off season as the changes are being made.
