Universal just announced extended hours for HHN on select nights. The events on 10/12, 10/16, 10/19, 10/22, 10/30, and 10/31 now have an extra hour of operation vs. the original schedule:
I'm curious if this is due to crowds, pre-purchased tickets, etc.
The do this almost every year if im not mistaken.

Every year I find it interesting how differently each house is reviewed by different people. The same house that is one person's favorite of the event is someone else least favorite house in 10 years. Has there ever been a year where one single house was the absolute majority favorite? Seems like it really comes down to what you like personally.
Id say American Werewolf would be the only house I can think of that I saw a majority people love but this year has been all over the place, Halloween would be my guess to this years in a popularity contest, although it wasn't my favorite

Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Polynesian are the two WDW resorts I want to visit the most.^ I want to return to the Polynesian, if I can afford it by the time I go.
We were there in 1987, and spent several wonderful nights onsite.
If you guys are looking to stay onsite check out renting DVC points from a member. Can save you a ton of money in the long run. Example, early 2013 we rented points form a member for 4 nights at Boardwalk and it turned out to cost me about $160 a night compared to over $300 a night if you book direct with Disney.

You can also get a super quick glimpse driving over the over pass headed to AK lodge. Looked over real quick and could see a some cranes and equipment thru the trees. Not much really to see and goes by in an instant

Went to Universal for opening weekend of HHN and had a bunch of first on this trip. For starters was our first time stay at Cabana Bay Beach Resort and can guarantee it will not be our last. Loved the rooms and for cost of the family suite think its one of the best values in the Orlando area and super huge plus its onsite.
Our second new experience was this was our first time seeing Diagon and words couldn't even describe the feeling off walking in there and seeing the dragon for the first time, just a jaw dropping sight. Loved Gringotts (my head Is still spinning trying to process what I just saw, lol) and HE and really like the fact that it was a ride my whole family could ride together.
Then there was Antojitos and Hot Dog Hall of Fame, do I even need to comment on how good the food was at both places.
Pool area at Cabana Bay, was getting kicked out of the area since it was closing time but still managed to get the shot
Cabana Bay Beach Resort lobby. Such a cool look and vibe
Beach area at Cabana Bay
Scare Actor in the Face Off scarezone
Bayou of Blood stilt walker was pretty cool
Have you had your annual purge
The dragon, im sure you have seen a 100 photos of this already but still impressive to see in person

Guess who's back. Me Here is a new batch of some photos taken over the past few months.
We took our first trip up to Gatorland a few months back and had fun. Sure its not one of your higher caliber parks like Disney and Universal but it really isnt trying to be either. Def worth a visit if your looking for something to do while in the area without all the crazy crowds.
I night time view down Tommorland at the Magic Kingdom
A touching moment at Islands of Adventure where one of our daughters met Spiderman for the very first time.
After visiting NYC and Nj for years we finally made it over to Coney Island for the very first time. I loved everything about it, form the atmosphere to the rides and not to mention the legendary Coney Island Cyclone.
Can't go wrong with Legos mixed with a dark shooter ride. Legoland, FL
Took this at a little carnival held at a Catholic School in Paramus, NJ during our visit up there in May.
There are moments in time that present to you the perfect photography situation and this was one of them. This poor unsuspecting lady right before her demise at the hands of a hungry T-Rex. Taken at the Bronx zoo Dino tour
No trip to NYC is complete until you make a visit out to the statue of liberty

The Mongolian Beef was outstanding. I also tired the Ravioli in Italy, Beef slider in Florida, and the cheese soup in Canada and all were fantastic.

Great pictures as always Mike! I've seen some a lot really great pictures of HHN thus far this season from a lot of different people and websites (no offense, yours are easily some of the best) which just makes me think that event looks really really good this year. I'm excited about my visit at the end of the month.
Thanks Hilltopper
This year is great and the houses are some of the best they have had in years IMO. Im glad they brought back the scarezones this year even though the Walking Dead zombies get a little redundant, still a blast regardless.

Didn't realize it has been so long since my last photo update. Ill make up with some pretty cool shots I go on my recent trip from opening weekend of Halloween Horror Nights. Will be back this weekend as well and hope to get some more good ones.
Rip Ride Light trail. Not often I get the chance to snap a shot from this angle so after existing Cabin in the Woods I took full advantage of it
Jurassic Splash
HHN Entrance
I will eat your heart. Walker in the streets of Atlanta
Probably one of the first long exposure shots out there of the new Twirl and Hurl. I knew earlier in the night I wanted to get this shot and made it a point to head back there before the night was over to grab.
