Very new here, I lurk every once in a great while and considered entering a video contest a while back but never got around to it. After browsing more extensively this seems like the place to be though -- more my "style" i guess then some other forums I had been on in the past... and hopefully I'll be able to attend one of the awesome trips in the near future. Anyways, my video camera busted back in 2006 and Holiwood nights was the last time I ever got to use it and got away with SOME footage at least, as it was very sporadic. Last week I just splurged on a fancy canon HV20 Hi-Def camcorder and I want to get back into recording some rides and silliness again. I noticed the rules here say that there is no linking, but A. the files are going to be big, and B. I am actually going to pay for a premium service which is $30 a year through Motionbox so I can get REALLY nice looking video. [click the link for a sample] Once I do get the ball rolling, would it be OK to link from the amateur video forum? or how should I go about doing it?. I also know they allow downloads and embedding on premium accounts, but I don't know if the forums allow embedding [i would think not]. Basically just looking to improve my skill set and get feedback on videos I make in the future, and posting in the forums here seems like a great way since there are lots of other amateur photographers and videographers are in these parts.
