I honestly don't think that this will have that much of an affect on Orlando. Dubai and Orlando are practically directly across the world from each other. The only people Orlando would lose are middle to upper Upper Class Americans who have the money to go to Dubai, and Orlando's European tourists. Even then, it sure seems as if it would be cheaper to go to Orlando than Dubai.

However the building has no signage, so it really is a mystery just what purpose it serves. Is it a service building, or just a facade? Oh! Upon closer inspection, we can see that the building is basically a facade. It hides this large backstage facility. According to the signs, the large building is a costume center, and the ticket purchase building also serves as the calling center for the park (as in where all the calls are answered). March 18, 1999 Officials released four more photogaphs of the Entrance Plaza today. They do say that the Season Pass/Guest Service will receive some more embellishing soon. The green building is Security. An overhead shot of the plaza will be released soon. ^Left side of the Entrance Plaza during the day. . . . .and at night below. ^The right side of the Entrance Plaza. The building on the right will receive more embellishing according to park officials. And below at night. March 31, 1999 The first photographs of the newly renovated interior of the park are being released. Where dead grass once sat, beautiful Victorian buildings have risen. Also, the new high-tech ticketing system has been unveiled that will be used for entry to the park. ^Inside the Entrance Gates. Security guards will be all over, ensuring no one can sneak in or cause a disruption. ^The Royal Diner is Mr. Happy's favorite restaurant in the park so far. It is also my favorite building. ^This is a sit-down restaurant that usually requires a reservation. *NOTE: Mostly, I do not do interiors, as you can tell from this image. I'm still concentrating on the exteriors* ^Next to the Royal Diner are the restrooms serving this area. ^Mr. Happy was quite tempted to charge admission for restroom useage. Happy Days New Jersey is part of the ever growing chain of parks under the company, Happy Days Amusements. However, this park is different from it's previous parks. Happy Days New Jersey (HDNJ) was not built by Happy Days Amusements (HDA). The park was already standing, and was purchased by HDA. However, it is not as simple as that. The park will be undergoing a major overhaul. New rides will be added, former rides will be torn down, some rides will be moved, new buildings will be erected and so on. The park is expected to remain closed for the remainder of the 1999 season, and will open to the publc in the year 2000. The park is located just four miles outside of Newark, making it an easy access point for millions of people. Since HDA took over the park, they have removed all photos of the park from the internet, and pulled all brochures on the park. Their aim is to reopen the park in the new millenium as if it were brand new. The project is being run by HDA founder, owner and President, Mr. Happy. February 29, 1999 Today Mr. Happy announced the completion of the Entrance Building, and the Ticket Counter, where guests who didn't plan in advance can get in line, pay for their tickets and walk right through the park. For every building shown, there will be two photographs, one during the day and one at night. Comments/Criticism Greatly Appreciated!

Hmm. . if this is indeed a Dive Machine than that means the Busch contract has expired. If that's true, than I'd be willing to bet we'll be seeing a lot more Dive Machines pretty soon. However, I find it more likely that this is a hyper coaster. A B&M hyper would be a great addition to Hershey, and it would be better than most others simply because of the way Hershey can cram rides in. For this very same reason, I believe a B&M flyer is a possibility. Interactivity with anything makes a flyer a better ride and this thing would be everywhere. I think one of the few things we do know is that its a B&M, but because of Stormrunner's success it could also be an Intamin. Its a bit early at this point to tell.

Just gonna throw this out there; Has anyone considered a Dive Machine? It would still be a hyper coaster if it topped 200 feet, and would be something Canada has never seen before. As far as we know, the Busch contract only extends to the US's borders and not North America. This could be Cedar Fair's way to experiment with the Dive Machine for when the Busch contract eventually expires. The only thing that works against this is that apparently there are footers spread out in a B&M Hyper Coaster design.
