Will be there in October just before the parks open
Just the perfect excuse to go back i guess.
Looks fantastic, thanks for posting.
Malcolm are you going with the Valt?
He just misses the opening date too. I've agreed with him that if it's open whilst I'm there I've to let him know and he'll be on the first plane out.

I'm going out there on Grand Prix weekend figuring everything will be running for the influx of tourists that'll descend on the city.

An Alpine Coaster just outside Warsaw in Poland.

Thanks for the plug David. That file has been my little baby for the last 3 years.
Do check back every couple of months as it keeps getting added to on a regular basis.

Add me to the list of people scared of Starflyers.
I'd also add the pirate ships with stand-up cages at the end such as the one we found in Albacete's city fairground.
There's no way it would be allowed in our Health & Safety riddled countries.

Look again, something else has appeared!

I'm one of those that moved it down the list on the Hawker poll. It is a really horrible ride
Ignore the big wide grins on the people as the train comes back into the station. They're just checking their fillings are intact.
Those that put their hands in the air on the first drop spend the rest of the ride wondering why they did it and hold on very tight for the remainder.
2 drops side by side do look cool until you realise that having been smacked on the first one you know you've got another to endure.
There's no reride queue for a reason, no one wants to.
But in its praise, at least it was open, which can't be said about the wooden coaster at La Feria.

SFMM's Goliath and SFOT's Titan coasters. After a teasing lift climb that feels like eternity you crest the top then looking down you can see a tiny black square way below in the distance and you think to yourself "there's no way we'll fit in that!"

Thunderbolt at Kennywood gets my vote, not necessarily because of the quality of the ride but because when I put my hands up on a drop the guy behind me decided to tickle me under the arms.
So the reflex action of hunching up my shoulders and pulling my neck down, coupled with the coaster levelling out at the bottom of the drop caused me to feel like I'd broken my neck.
It took 3-days to fully recover from that.

There's a model of the castle on the beach in Seuss Island.

On Wicked Twister
"If you're happy and you know it clap your hands"
Then as the hands go back ready to clap she launches the train.

Tiesto's current show is pretty good and recommended but still not a patch on Jarre's concerts in terms of spectacle. His Docklands concert is still my all time favourite with Guns n Roses at Wembley a close second.

This is my first post to the list, go easy on me.
Some of you may know me (no I'm not Troy McClure) from the ECC.
For the last year or so I've been using my time trapped at home on support trying to locate as many parks as I can in Google Earth. Its coming along quite nicely and I've found most of the parks in the rcdb and a couple of other sites. I've also found some parks that have been missed (Duane now knows about them) so I think its quite thorough.
I've just sent out the latest version of the file to those people from the ECC mailing list that were interested, but I'm happy to share it with you bunch of fools too.
If interested please email me at malcolm_marr@hotmail.com and I'll send you the file and add you to the mailing list for future versions. I could attach it here but then I wouldn't know who was interested, so I'm not going to do it.
Cheers!
