The Hoppings on the Town Moor of Newcastle upon Tyne is Europe's largest travelling fairground. Showmen from all over Europe gather for the last 2 weeks of June in the North East of England to show off their latest rides. Traditionally the weather is really bad, however this week has been great and record numbers of visitors have attended. This is a must to come and see. Next time TPR comes to the UK in the last 2 weeks of June you must come and see this and sample the legendary night life in Newcastle. Howay the Lads ..... Arrived mid-afternoon to miss all the queues ...... absolutely packed !! First up - Top Star. Then onto the Waltzer - This brings back memories of Friday nights at the Spanish City in Whitley Bay. Hard Rock .... Kick Down .... Super Spin .... Superbowl .... Crazy Frog - The program lasted for about 8 mins! Extreme - This really is a great flat ride! Stargate .... Now for the star of the show .... M&D's Bomber Mark 2 !!!!!! The queues were about 5 to 10 mins for this ride. This ride is insane! One of the 2 Wild Mouse spinning coasters at the show. Credit Whoring ...... Craziest ride at the show .. This was a riot !!!
