  1. It was open last year. I know because I rode it. However it closed very early because of noise. Was unaware of the recent closing, so it may be closed this year, but hopefully they will get it going again soon. Still remains that if it does open again in time, it will probably be closing early and the lights will probably be off. Also I believe it was at 10 that the ride was completely shut down meaning if you aren't in line an hour and 1/2 before then, you might not get on. P.S. Thanks for the link to the locations.
  2. For the singing one, I think it was SACRIFICE, it's easier if you use a microphone to sing along. Otherwise with your mouse you just rapidly click while your supposed to "sing." If it's green you're doing it right. As for some other questions, pretty sure that Rockit will be open as it was last year. However it can only be open until 10 if I remember correctly. It's lame, but people complain about the noise from screaming riders. Also about Stay and Scream, tried it a couple years ago and while some think it's nice to get some houses in early, I completely regretted it. It seems that it takes a while to get the houses fully staffed so the first few houses I went through were missing a lot. Just be aware of it and I don't recommend getting your favorite house out of the way first. The lines at Harry Potter should be less insane so I wouldn't hurry over to HHN. IOA is open until 7-8pm and HHN starts at 6:30. Save some cash by getting Stay and Scream unless you're a Florida Resident, then it's the same price. If you can afford it, get express for the busy nights and get them early because they sell out quickly. Strange how little information there is this year. The other years we knew so much way earlier. Here we are less than a week away with only names and descriptions of houses and scarezones. No locations yet? Also noticed a description mentioning Cindy. Seems we will finally meet her.
  3. For the hidden tracks so far what has been reported is: 1-30 are the advertised tracks 74 or 75 is a Metallica song 112 - Free Bird 123 - a song by Muse 301 - Float On by Modest Mouse 311 - an unknown R&B track 901 - Moving Right Along by The Muppets 902 - The Rainbow Connection by The Muppets 945 - California Screamin track reported that a certain code plays the Back To The Future theme. Also note that if you select a bonus track, the video will be disabled and you will not be able to purchase the DVD. A lot of glitches in the system still so the screen may just freeze up on you.
  4. Nope. That's why it wouldn't be extra money, it would be less money. Parks want you to spend your day there. By allowing the option of paying less to try out the new attraction and leave, they'd lose money. If you have to buy the park ticket, then you'll probably spend a little more for the 2nd day and stay all day spending money. It really doesn't make economic sense for Universal. If they required that you have a park ticket in order to purchase an after hours ride (like an add-on), then it would be extra money. We are talking about something that is a complete rumor, though. Maybe someone could ask the guard at that exit about this.
  5. Well there is a park exit right between Jimmy Neutron and Blue Man Group that could be used as an entrance for HRRR. Guess you can do it after the park closes, but it would make things weird. Then you'd have people just coming late for the coaster instead of getting a park admission. A new attraction should bring more park guests who buy overpriced food, drinks and gift shop items. And how much can you charge for 1 ride? Not close to what you can charge for a park ticket, possibly a 2 park pass since you'd want IOA as well and perhaps an express pass for shorter lines. And with HHN coming up... well there's your opportunity to ride it at night.
  6. The park starts closing at 7pm on the 16th. If the ride opens the 16th, no one will be enjoying the ride that looks best at night until HHN. I'd wait until then.
  7. Just hit the parks up for a couple days so here's the news. Tuesday Aug 4, I arrived and they tested the 4 trains late into the night. One had the lights off and one had water dummies. Wed. Aug 5, noticed a boom lift next to the ringy dingy thingies. That night the bottom 3 rings had color changing lights. Didn't see any testing all day. Thur. Aug 6, still didn't see any testing. Did notice trains being stopped at different spots along the track and being inspected. Later in the day saw the boom lift again and all 5 rings lit after the park closed. Another thing I noticed on Thur. is that the express lines were unusually long. Very long wait times and heard a lot of people complaining and checking to make sure they really were in the express line. Hopefully all the complaints they heard today discourage them from overselling express passes again.
  8. new production die-ry up!!
  9. Hey cosmo, I've got some low light tips for you. It does depend on the camera you have. Photoshopping can also help with noise/underexposure later. If I knew what camera you have I could help more. A camera with a "Night Scene" mode is great if you're not really sure. Anyone PM me w/ your camera model for low-light HHN photo tips. Also while we're on the subject of stay and scream, didn't JT say there would be an opening scaremonies at the gate? That would be kinda fun not to miss wouldn't it. Don't you miss anyhting by not coming in with everyone else?
  10. Anybody looked at the hollywood site? haha, just reusing the idea of orlando's 13 w/ the director. Except their director's name is Pavel Pranevsky. Real original, huh? Where's that kid that was ranting about how HHN in Hollywood was better? HA! I've been on that crappy studio tour. Boring, older versions of Kong, Jaws, and Earthquake. The part I did like is the scene from that old Mel Brooks movie where Moses parts the sea. But seriously, been to USH once and will never go again. If you're in L.A., go to Magic Mountain!
  11. Looks like The Director has been going through the archives now. He seems to really like Norman Bates and the lagoon and People Under The Stairs. Also some comments about his new DrIvE-IN in '03 web archives. Wonder about the caretaker's "true milestone of 2002." Anybody notice anything going on in the '06 drawer? It seems like the handprints are different, I dunno. Anyways, this year is gonna be freakin sweet!
