It was very cool to run into someone that I've read posts by and seen a pic of on this site. I was in line for my third ride of the night when Guru ended up in line behind me. I'd seen him earlier, but, he was about to board the train at the back and I was still in line up toward the front of the train. While chatting with him in line, he did indeed talk me into row 11. I wasn't too fond of the back of the train after a few past rides that were very rough. I basically decided after those rides to stay toward the front of the train as much as possible. However, after the track work done during the winter break, the back rows are no longer as nasty as they used to be. It was quite a pleasant experience to get yanked down those hills in row 11! It wasn't anywhere near as rough as it was on my last rides there in November. I got a total of four rides in last night: 1st: Row 2R 2nd: Row 3L 3rd: Row 11R 4th: Row 1R My favorite two of those four were without a doubt the third and fourth rides. They are kind of two sides on the same coin for me. I like the unrestricted view of row 1, but, I equally like the slightly stronger G's of row 11. It was nice to hear Guru agree that the right side of the train is the best side to be on. I'd discovered that in my past rides on the Bullet. I had to call it quits after four rides because I had over an hour and a half drive back home. I had made several pit stops around the Houston area and got to the Boardwalk around 6:30 or so. After getting my wristband at about 6:50, I knew I was going to be limited in the amount of Bullet rides I could get in due to the length of the line. All four rides averaged about 20 to 25 minutes or so to get on. That wasn't too bad at all considering the amount of people there. The thing that really made the wait times totally bearable was the weather. It was as close to perfect for me as you could get. It wasn't too hot or cold and there was a good strong breeze to keep you cool. This was definitely a fun evening with the Bullet and Guru. It was nice to ride it again after about five months and after the winter track work. I wish I could have gotten more rides in, but... (1) I didn't break a sweat due to nice weather (2) I paid for my wristband with my four rides (3) I didn't get beat up in row 11 (4) I got to meet Guru (5) I had a lot of fun So, I guess you could say, "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!".

Maybe they could repaint/retheme it to some other comic characters. Yes, they got Tony Hawk's Big Spin @ SFFT this year. But, maybe they could add this in next year. It wouldn't be as big of a cost as buying a NEW coaster since this ride is already theirs...

I've never been to SFGA. I see the removal pics, but, my mind is already asking the question: WHERE ARE THEY GOING TO INSTALL IT NEXT? Does anybody have any idea? Surely they aren't just packing it down in a storage barn somewhere... Maybe they'll ship it to us in TX and I'll finally be able to ride it. It would pretty much have to go to SFFT. I don't think SFOT has any room for it.

I got it worse... I got to work last night @ 3.50AM right smack dab in the middle of HURRICANE HUMBERTO. It went from T.S. to full Cat1 hurricane after it made landfall. Very unusual. It was only 4mph away from being a Cat2. It folded my umbrella like a piece of origami, blew(slid) a port-o-potty about 60', blew over a metal park bench, tore a couple of small trees out of the ground, turned metal-armed redlights on poles 90 degrees and has put about 100K people without electricity in Beaumont. I can literally say that I've went to work in the middle of a hurricane. Before you ask, NO, I didn't have a clue what was waiting for me at the end of my 20+ mile drive to work. I would have never of dreamed it would be a hurricane. It was an experience I'll never forget.

texcoaster was emailing me and he said he was on the train with a reporter when it got stuck on the brakes. They moved it to the maintenance shed. That's why it was only running one train.

During my last ride @ about 9.50pm it started to sprinkle. The line was too long for me to ride again 'cuz I still had about a 2 hour drive home ahead of me. I'm sure I'll get to ride it during a "wet run" sometime in the future.

Slow? Huh? Those trains were flying. Yes, the 2nd big hill by the lift hill exhibited a full click-click-click on the antirollbacks. That was the largest span of time to even try to catch your breath. The other small one was right before diving under the station. I can't imagine it going faster and shaving 15 seconds off the circuit time. WOW!

Yep. I found that out the hard way as I was "walking the plank" many many times today. I was mad at first. I got off the back row, two guys got in and the seats in front of that were empty with nobody in line for them. I wanted to hop on in. It was only when I got home and gave it some serious thought that I realized the "problem". I'm not the only one who would want to avoid having to go all the way around. How would they determine who'd get those seats? I'll say this: It was WORTH "walking the plank" to ride the Boardwalk Bullet over and over! All the way!

I DID IT! In fact, I did it 12 times in less than 7 hours! I'll do my ride report later. I'm just too tired to do it now.

I paid $15 to park my car @ SFOT in July. How much did you pay for parking at Kemah? (I know - $0) That alone makes it a bargain beyond value!

Thanks for trying to answer. Hopefully, I won't have to find out. I really want to ride as many times as I can. Four rides would pay for a wristband, so, no problem. If this ride is anywhere near as good as I think it will be, it will be MORE than worth the cost of the wristband.

To quote Beavis, "Ohhh yeah..." I did contradict myself in one post, didn't I? The question I really wanted to ask was if the reride policy only applied to the wristbands. I didn't mean to make no sense and ask an oxymoronic question...

Fixed. Sorry about that, it wasn't done intentionally. I just didn't stop to think that it would fill half the page. That's something I'll keep in mind for this forum and others. Thanks!

Oops! Let me clarify what I meant... What if you had say two single tickets to ride twice. You wouldn't be able to just hand them your second ticket and get an empty seat if there was one? You'd have to rewalk the queue in this case? I say two tickets based on the ride having a long line. Also, I've read on here that you could mildly call this ride "rough". I rode the Texas Giant back in July and I'll never ride it again. Rough isn't even a kindergarten word to start describing the Texas Giant! I absolutely hate that ride and don't see how anybody, including coaster fanatics, can call that pleasure by any stretch of the imagination. It's #2 pine bloody murder plain and simple.

That's precisely what I was wondering. Just how would they keep track of all those people... I guess I'm just so used to LOOONNNGGG lines @ Six Flags that I won't know how to feel. The reason I asked about rerides is because that queue(from what I've seen) seems really long. I hated that excessive queue for B:TE @ SFAW. Is this queue as long as I've perceived it in pictures?

Is that 3X reride policy good for only wristbands? Single tickets must rewalk the queue? Just need to ask. I'm trying to decide if I'll get the wristband or not. It all kinda depends on just how bad the line is. I love Pharaoh's Fury. That'll pay for part of the wristband in a couple of rides anyway.

How can they possibly keep track of a ton of different people and know who's ridden how many times? What if someone is waiting for your seat but others are empty? Can you go for them instead? Thanks for the info so far.

Thanks for the info about how it rides! I can hardly wait. I just hope it doesn't experience any "technical difficulties" before I can ride it. What was the longest you had to wait in line? Also, how long does a "circuit" take including loading/riding/unloading? THE BIG QUESTION IS THIS: Will they let you reride without having to go to the start of the queue if there aren't enough people in line to fill all vacant seats? I sure hope not. I hate that at Six Flags! I just don't get why they are such a pain about it.

Fly away! Better that than click-click-click on the anti-rollbacks. I hope they have it open. We need to get the ball rollin'... I might just try and avoid the busyness of Labor Day weekend and go next weekend or something. That way I'll have some feedback from people who've ridden it before me. Plus, maybe they'll allow someone the privilege of taking a POV and I'll really get an eyeful before I travel the 100 miles to ride it.

That's pretty certain @ 99%. I'm wanting a ride bad after watching it being built these past 9 months. It looks like it's really gonna be a great ride! Do you think the lines are gonna be really bad? Or will the height restriction eliminate a bunch of kids and make lines more reasonable?

So, will it for sure be open this Fri and during the weekend? I really need to know.
