  1. I'm in the midst of planning a trip over spring break (it will be packed, I know) but I was just wondering what the chances are that Hulk and Reign of Kong will be open. I know their opening/reopening dates say Summer 2016, but is there any chance that either will be open for spring break?
  2. Okay, except with Stinger, there have been so many issues with it that it may not be worth keeping it around for as long-term coaster. Plus its a Vekoma boomerang which are awful anyway, so I wouldn't be surprised if this leaves in a couple of years to make place for something new. That being said, "new" will probably be another relocation to hold us over until 2020. Dorney is like the garbage can for coasters that are not good enough for other parks, with Hydra being its last truly new coaster all the way back in 2005. I'm hopeful, but at the same time doubtful that anything actually new will be coming in the near future. Fingers crossed for a GCI woodie or something big though.
  3. Oh my god! Fire Ball at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk?! I love it there! It has such a great atmosphere and a very storied past. I go almost every year, and Fire Ball and The Giant Dipper are definitely must rides. Fire Ball is so much better than any other pendulum ride, I agree. I have no idea why though, maybe it's the beach-side atmosphere with great views. Whatever it is I love it, and can't wait to go back next summer!
