  1. America's Park So America's park was going to be a timeline project at first. However I kinda abandoned it and decided it would make for a good single shot. Bunmpers Cars and the base of the fun slide. Long Shot of the entrance. Ariel view of the entrance building. The largest structure in the park. The Kickflip and Mini Grill. It's a whip.....simple....... A shot of the Speedway. A shot of the Speedways bridge. Ariel View of Speedway The Super Loop based loosely on the layout of Scorpion. The Super Loop based loosely on the layout of Scorpion. The Super Loop based loosely on the layout of Scorpion. Layout Shot! Cool multi ride night shot. Tennessee Tornado.....just a scrambler. Windmill Falls the over done put put. look a parking lot
  2. So instead of doing fifty million threads I will be doing all my design posting here. RCT 3 Parks America's Park (page 1) Coasters Timelines RCT 2
  3. ((So some things I know about 1)) The park is very angular. This is because of a multitude of reasons all of which I can't fix. Or I want it that way. 2)) The Skyway stations need fixing. 3)) Anything feedback I would love to have )) 1965 in review. On April 2nd River Run Pleasure Pier opened to the public. An instant hit the park, despite being rushed through building, was wildly successful. The Lighthouse (Helter Skelter) and The Grand (Ferris Wheel) were very popular. The elaborate and expensive Haunted House was the busiest attraction but suffered some nightmarish downtime. Danger Dips surprisingly settled into a medium popularity and seems to have short wait lines. However the short ride time and two trains may offer some explanation. The Grand has been closed at the end of the 1965 season after the heavy rainfall closing out October. No news yet as to the reason of the closure just that the park hopes to have the signature ride reopened for the start of the 1966 season. A large area of land has been blocked of moving into the 1966 season but what will it be?
  4. So the entrance. To speed up construction on Danger Dips, the wooden roller coaster, they decided to change the layout mid build. This resulted in extra wood and framework.
  5. Hello Everyone after reading Password's thread. I decided to do my own timeline project. This is a 50 year timeline project called RiverRun. It is my first RCT3 project so don't expect amazing stuff. A few notes before we get started. 1) This thread is heavily based on Password' Idea even this section is based on him. 2) My RCT3 skills are what they are. 3) I may occasionally provide "quotes" from the "owner," or something along those lines. However, generally I will just explain the progress in my own words with screenshots. A) I will occasionally provide video. "Trailers" It won't happen every post. B) I will occasionally do ad posters. It won't happen every post. 4) The "timeline" begins in 1965 and ends in 2015 is the 50th season. 5) I greatly encourage feedback. If you have a better idea, let me know and I will do my best to directly respond to you. I may also ask you for ideas/feedback. 6) The goal of this project is to be realistic in two separate manners: A) I am using in game money and have a max loan of $100,000. Real parks don't have unlimited funds to build coasters every year. B) I will only construct coasters in a realistic manner and time frame. In other words, I'm not going to build a B&M hyper in 1980. 7) I have horrid grammar and spelling. (IKO) 8) I will update sometime between friday and sunday of each week. Located on land formerly used as a Mississippi spillway River Run began construction on December 6th 1964. Initial costs for the project were estimated at $20 million (Amount adjusted to modern day value). The project ran dramatically over budget. With a open date being forced by investors upon the Johan family, the owners of the park, the park struggled to hit its April 2 open date. The design of the main coaster was drastically altered. Despite this the park opened April 2nd to just under 30,000 people. RiverRun poster
  6. Just gonna be up front with you - Disney are my all-time favorite theme parks, and we live in Orlando, sooooo...... While I think we absolutely do a much better job of "mixing it up" than most other theme park/roller coaster Facebook pages do, you are always going to see a good amount of Disney on the page simply because that's what I'm into. Hello, my avatar here is from me working at Disney when I was 19 years old! I grew up with Disney and that's not gonna change. As far as Anna & Elsa are concerned, well, look, while I get where you're coming from, as a Disney "fan" I'm super excited that Disney Animation is once again making movies that people want to see (Frozen, Big Hero 6, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, etc) because I remember that dark days of movies like Treasure Planet and Home on the Range and we will continue to feature them because there is still a lot of excitement around them. While we do cover Disney quite a bit, I think you'd have to admit that we do cover a *LOT* of parks all over the world. Hope that explains a bit more. I get it. Also home on the range never happened........ I like the Disney updates just aaaccchhh Frozen......i can't get that song out my head.
  7. 1. Do you have your videos set to auto-play on your: a. desktop computer and/or b. mobile device? Yes. But I will usually stop the Auto play to turn the sound on and go full screen. 2. Do you regularly "share" content from Facebook "page" (like the TPR page) to your own personal Facebook page? And have you shared something from the TPR page? Yes and Yes. 3. What kind of content are you most likely to share? (Videos, Photos, News Stories, etc?) Videos. Always sharing Videos. 4. How long on average do you watch a video posted to Facebook for? Do you watch the entire video? First 30 seconds? Until you get bored? If it's a ride or coaster the entire video. 5. How important are "video thumbnails" to you? (the image you see with the > Play icon before you click to watch a video) Not important at all. 6. What do you like/dislike about Facebook? What features do you use the most and which ones annoy you? Nothing. I am neutral to the book of faces. 7. Is there anything that TPR does or doesn't do on Facebook that you think we should be doing more/less of? More videos. Oh less Disney stuff. Nothing against Anna and Elsa but I am at my frozen breaking point. However I do still want to see that POV. Also Construction update posts on Facebook are awesome.
