I want to get pictures/off-ride videos/POVs when I go to BGW, but I need some advice on cameras.

I have two cameras, a small handheld olympus,

which has a long battery life, great picture taking, and a low quality video option.

The other is a big Canon DV camcorder,

which has a pretty short battery life, and records super high quality outdoor footage, and has a nice zoom, but is heavy and inconvient to carry around.

So my question is should I bother even bringing the Canon, or should I bring it for the quality and which is better to record POVs with?

EDIT: Oops, sorry if there are already 42 topics on this subject.

I also don't want to get my cameras destroyed, cause my family would kill me (already lost one at Disneyland a few years ago). How should I hold the camera?
