coasterkidJacob
Hi! This is my version of Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm not doing a recreation of the ride, but my own interpretation of it. My version of the ride is heavily inspired by the POTC at Disneyland in California. I recently visited The Disneyland Resort, and I rode Pirates at least once or twice a day. This inspired me to create my own version. Keep in mind, I am very slow when it comes to Rct3. I don't understand why, but I have never finished a large-sized dark ride in Rct3. However, I am determined to finish this ride. Feel free to give suggestions on what I should do, or improve. The ride's entrance courtyard. The Facade building of Pirates Night view The station part of the building. The view from the loading platform. As you can see, this scene was inspired by the Disneyland version. I made my own version of the Blue Bayou restaurant, and built a hotel facade, where the boats travel through. A closer look at the Blue Bayou hotel. I don't know what to call the hotel, other than The Blue Bayou Hotel. Please put suggestions into what I should call it. The view from the restaurant. The entire hotel and bayou. For some reason there is a blue wall, and I can't seem to find out why it is blue. I have even replaced the piece more than once. The progress so far. I have started on the second scene in the attraction, the hotel's ruins. Edited January 2, 2016 by A.J.
coasterkidJacob
Hello again. I started on the second scene in the attraction, and I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted to do. The second scene was very hard for me to do. However, I like how it came out. I put the infamous Jolly Roger skull in this scene right before the the first drop, but unfortunately i can't seem to find the correct soundtrack of just the skull talking. I have the "Dead Men Tell No Tales" soundtrack, and the banjo music soundtrack, but I can't find the skull soundtrack. Anyways, after I completed the construction scene, I put some lanterns in it and i'm very pleased with the result. I then moved onto the third scene which is the drop scene and I am still working on this scene today. This scene takes place in a cave full of rocks and mist, which literally drops you into a battle. I am still working on where I want to place the ship and the large fort. The Construction scene overview. As you can see, it is very small, and was quite a challenge. The Construction scene at night. I need to still get the soundtrack for the Jolly Roger Skull. Does anyone know where I can find it? I then began work on the drop scene. I used two different types of rock and I had to constantly rotate the rocks to get it realistic. I don't know if I should add some bushes in the rocks. Another View of the drop scene, but it has no roof. A view from inside the drop scene The drop scene nearly complete. As you can see, it now has a roof. I don't know what to put right after the drop. Should I put a battle scene, or a cave scene right after the drop. I am certain that I will be doing a battle scene as indicated. So should I put a cave scene or a battle scene. If you suggest that I do a battle scene, I will have one large battle scene.
