kaino34 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 OK So I'm about to embark on 3 months overseas, visiting: Japan (Tokyo & Kyoto) UAE (Dubai) Ireland & UK Europe (All Over) United States (Orlando & LA) Firstly my friend wants to ensure we go to all the Disney Parks.. I'm aware though that some are very similar.. but we want to do as many as possible.. any ideas?? What other parks are worth a visit? Thanks in Advance! Kaine
ParkTrips Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 You're asking opinions on HUNDREDS of parks across the world - you really should share some personal info to get help in the right direction, like are you looking for the most credits? The best parks? Do you like/dislike any kinds of parks or rides? Is money an issue? Do you want to seek out good flat rides/food/shows/whatever? What time of year? Do you like to mix in any other activities into your travels (museums/nature/beaches/pubs/zoos/etc.) Your original post is pretty much impossible to reply to without some more info.
LA Dan Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 As far as Disney goes ... definately hit up Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea - plan at least a day for each. If you skip any Disney, skip HK Disneyland - it still doesn't have much to offer and the only unique ride to it is their Jungle Cruise, which isn't worth the trip just for that. Definately hit up Paris Disneyland and Disney Studios - in the fall, you probably can do both parks in a day if you start early in the morning and go till it closes. If you want a more leisurely pace - plan 2 days - 1/2 day at the Studios and 1.5 days in Disneyland Park iteself. In Florida - plan at least a day each for the 4 Disney World parks - EPCOT and the Studios there are my favourites. I can to the Magic Kingdom in 1/2 day to catch everything I want to hit - mostly what is different from Disneyland here in CA. Plan a full day for Universal - 1/2 day in Islands of Adventure on a slow fall weekday and you can do the whole place, but start with Harry Potter first. Same goes for the Studio park there ... a 1 day hopper and I can hit all the rides I like at both - but if you like it more relaxing pace - plan 2 days, this will allow for some doubling/repeating of the rides. If you have extrat time in Orlando - go to Sea World as well. If you have time for Tampa - go to Busch Gardens there ... fun place for thrills. At the Disneyland Resort - plan 2 days - 1.3 in Disneyland - gotta go to the original, and about .7 days in DCA - it's still not a full day park and won't be crowded at all on a week day. Eftieling is open year round - so I would go there if you are in Holland. Not sure if Europa park will be open while you travel - but if it is, definately go there.
