Help in trip planning

Hi, I am from australia and I am going to the uk in the next few years and i was wondering if anyone could tell me any good parks there to go to (i alredy know about alton towers and definatly going), my mum will not let me go to more than 4 parks.

Definitely Alton... next best would probably be Thorpe Park, which is just outside London. Drayton Manor is also worth a visit, and that would tie in nicely with your visit to Alton, they're fairly close together. Further up from Alton is Blackpool Pleasure Beach, which is also good fun.

 

That's 4 parks there, and they're the obvious ones to go for, but my favourite park in the UK is Oakwood, which is just a really nice, scenic and 'friendly' park. It's got Megafobia, a wooden coaster, which is just so much fun. The problem is that Oakwood is not as accessible as the other 4 parks, and is off the 'beaten track' a little, being in South-West Wales. However, if you could get there, I'd greatly advise it.
