What a great site! + Fear Factor Live question

Wow! I'm sure glad I found this site 'cause I love theme parks AND donkeys!

 

I asked this question in a different theme park forum (which I can't seem to log back into?):

 

"Hi! I will be visiting Universal Orlando, and would LOVE to eat something disgusting or fall to my death during "Fear Factor Live". Has anybody been chosen as a contestant? When and where would I want to be if I want a shot at it? Thanks!"

 

I received this response:

 

"Go to the Fear Factor Live area about an hour or so before the show starts. They have a tryout area there. You can choose to be a contestant...win big prizes, or just do a side stunt. They have it where they put stuff on you, where you can eat something, or just help out with the stunts.

If you eat something, its a shake...made of gross."

 

Is it really that easy to get on the show? What experiences have you guys had with this?

I do not know, however I do know this.

 

Fear Factor Live! has been cancelled since last year. Yeah, it was a short lived show. I think the reason why the live show was canned is due to the TV show being canned as well.

Elissa should be able to answer that question. She got picked to be a contestant in March of last year. Carlos (Frade) also auditioned, but unfortunately didn't make the cut.
