  1. Supernovae Productions on a Theme Park Roadtrip to Sweden Summer vacation 2025 was all about a trip with the final destination: Liseberg in Sweden. As preparation we designed a route with the help of coast2coaster, making sure to hit several parks along the way. Starting from Rotterdam, the trip took us through Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and back again to the Netherlands.  Day 1: You can find it here Tier-und Freizeitpark Thule  Day 2: You can find it here Pottspark Now we’ve arrived at Day 3 and the third park of the trip. This park features Strohnado, a family spinning coaster with a hamster wheel attached to the back car. None of us had ever experienced this kind of ride before, so of course we had to try it out. Capacity, however, was painfully slow. Standing in the scorching sun for an hour didn’t exactly make things better. Once on board, the ride itself was fun and quirky, but the hamster wheel section wasn’t as wild as we’d hoped—only a short moment where you could do a full 360° rotation. The coaster was also quite short overall. Not really worth the long wait, but hey, another coaster credit earned Right next to Strohnado stands a Vekoma Junior Coaster with the imaginative name “Achterbahn”. A quick and easy credit. Then there was Verrücktwärts, a shuttle coaster. And let me tell you folks: in the time this thing takes to get going, you could travel around the world, negotiate world peace, file your taxes, and enjoy a proper cup of coffee. Okay, I may be exaggerating—but it really gives you an idea of just how sloooooow this ride was. Given the layout, it’s hard to understand what the manufacturer (SBF-Visa Group) was going for here. Or maybe we coaster fans have just gotten too spoiled? With the heat, the water rides were a welcome sight. We started with the Rafting-bahn (river rapids). The highlight here was the whirlpool, but theming was minimal—just a few dinosaurs scattered around and lots of green vegetation. The waves were tame, and we came off surprisingly dry, which was actually a bit disappointing on a 30°C day. Luckily, there was also a log flume: the creatively named Wildwasserbahn. Two drops—one small and one big finale. Unlike the previous park, this time the final splash really got us soaked, which was perfect in the summer heat . Splash from the small drop Splash from the big drop We wrapped up the day with a ride on Blizzard, the park’s bobsled coaster. Earlier we’d considered skipping it due to the massive queue, knowing these types of rides are usually a nightmare for capacity. Thankfully, by the end of the day the wait had dropped, so we decided to go for it. These bobsleds are always fun, especially because you can control the speed yourself. Luckily, none of us got stuck behind slow riders, so we were able to go full throttle all the way down. Final thoughts on the park: pretty similar to the last two we visited—small, family-friendly, and only really worth it if you’re in the area. The coaster lineup was underwhelming (not in number, but in type). If you’re looking for something more exciting, Thule or Potts Park would be better choices. Tomorrow, we’re off to our first major park of the trip: Heide Park!

  2. Supernovae Productions on a theme park roadtrip to Sweden Summer vacation 2025 was all about a roadtrip with the final destination: Liseberg in Sweden. As prep, we mapped out the route with coast2coaster, hitting several parks along the way. Starting in Rotterdam, we drove through Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and eventually back to the Netherlands. You can read all about Day 1 here Tier-und Freizeitpark Thule Day 2: Potts Park If you’d rather watch a vlog full of nonsense, click this link: Day 2 kicked off at Potts Park, just a 15-minute drive from where we stayed. The park had just opened a brand-new family boomerang coaster called Braus & Saus. It was still in soft- opening mode, so we weren’t even sure if it’d be running. Lucky us—it was open! This family shuttle launch coaster is honestly a really fun addition to the park. Unlike the classic “boomerang coasters” where you get hauled backward up a lift hill, here you actually get launched backwards. The whole thing is themed as a Stone Age car wash, which is kinda random but actually works. It’s not a super long track, but it’s got some nice little elements. We ended up riding it a few times in a row. Supernovaejunior also hopped on the Klippenschleuder—basically a top spin ride that doesn’t flip you upside down. Another unique coaster here is Turbo-Drachen by ABC Rides. It’s a dynamic swing glider, basically a suspended coaster with a twisty layout. Of course, when we got there it had technical issues, so we first killed some time on the Nautic-Jet. Luckily, Turbo-Drachen reopened and we got our ride. The fun bit is you can control the speed yourself. The not-so- fun bit? The ride slows you down halfway through the course before sending you back to the station. Why though?? Kinda disappointing… Next up: the log flume Pottwal. Only one drop, the rest is a chill boat ride through turns. The splash was pretty tame—would’ve been nice if it was bigger given the hot weather. Let's do another rollercoaster. The Potts Blitz, a family rollercoaster from Zierer. It's a nice one but not very special. Before leaving, we tried out Rondos, basically a human hamster wheel ride you can control yourself. Naturally, we went full chaos mode, and yeah—we now know how hamsters feel. Only downside: we were stuck going backwards the whole time. No option to flip forward, which was a bummer. We wrapped up the day with a frozen coffee and headed back to the apartment. Park verdict: small, family-friendly, and worth a stop if you’re nearby. It’s got some quirky, unique rides like Turbo-Drachen. Braus & Saus is their first properly themed coaster, which hopefully means good things for the park’s future. Next stop: Day 3 – Rastiland!
  3. Supernovae Productions on a theme park road trip to Sweden Summer vacation 2025 was all about a trip with the final destination: Liseberg in Sweden. To prepare, we used coast2coaster to plan out a route hitting several parks along the way. We kicked things off in Rotterdam and headed through Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and then back to the Netherlands. If you want to watch a vlog full of random nonsense, click this link: Let’s start with Day 1. Monday, August 11th First stop: Tier- und Freizeitpark Thüle, about a 4-hour drive from home. The park is a mix of a small zoo and an amusement park, mostly known for its Heege rides. None of us had been there before, so it felt like the perfect little stop on our way. We arrived around early afternoon, and first things first: food. No lunch yet, so obviously we went for currywurst – the ultimate German snack that you just have to try at least once when visiting our eastern neighbors. After filling up, time to check out the park. We started with the zoo section – nice, but nothing too special. On to the rides! First coaster: Lost World – a dinosaur-themed powered coaster by Wiegand. Cute little layout, fun theming, and you can tell the park really put some effort into it. Dinosaurs along the track, tunnels, and the tiny 2-person cars actually have a decent speed. Opened in 2022, it’s a solid addition for a park this size. We already decided we’d reride this one later in the day. Next up: Drachen-Achterbahn by Zierer. Honestly, nothing groundbreaking, but hey – if you’ve got a YouTube channel and need onrides, you’ve gotta ride these too. Been there, done that. Then Storchenturm, basically the same ride as Wirbelbaum in Toverland. Of course the teenager had to test how fast we could spin… let’s just say, we saw some beautiful stripes afterwards. Time for “slip ‘n slide” on the Rundbootrutsche, a round boat water slide with a helix in the layout. You never know if you’ll come out forwards or backwards since you spin the whole way down. On the way to the next ride we saw this random building – no clue what was inside. Funhouse? Haunted house? Walkthrough? The capacity was terrible, only four people at a time with a long pause in between groups. So we waited. And waited. Finally our turn! First part was a walkthrough with some guy on a screen talking about… well, no idea what. Then a room full of glowing special effects – cool, but we still didn’t know what the main attraction was. Finally, we got into a 4-person bench hanging from a track. Surprise! It turned out to be a dark ride + flying theater hybrid called Tiki-Tahiti Adventure. We “flew” past a bunch of screens with movement effects – nothing too wild, but if you’ve got a weak stomach, maybe skip it. Some masked dude was the main character, no clue what the story was, but it was funny. And hey, there was even a mine train coaster in the film. Does that secretly count as another coaster credit? When we got out, we all agreed it wasn’t worth the insane wait, but hey, sometimes you’ve just got to try things as a theme park fan. Plenty more flat rides and Heege attractions to hit, so we moved on. Wildwasserondell – basically a jetski ride – always fun. Supernovaejunior wanted to try the Nautic Jet, so he did that while the rest of us filmed some offrides nearby. Then the Kontiki swing boat by Zierer, followed by the Sindbad Schaukelschiff – a classic pirate ship, pretty much the same as the one in Toverland. After that, we hopped on Eiertanz, where you sit in half eggs swinging around on spinning arms. Fun ride, but it took forever to stop spinning afterwards – longer than the ride itself. Guess they forgot the brakes? Next door was Airboat, a Huss flat ride, but we had to wait since the same operator also ran Eiertanz. Not great for capacity, but hey, that’s just how the park rolls. We wrapped things up with another ride on Lost World and some of the typical Heege rides: Sailbahn, Schmetterling and Komet Schaukel. After that it was time to head out to our first overnight stop in Bad Oeynhausen. Final thoughts on Tier- und Freizeitpark Thüle Cute little park with a nice atmosphere. The addition of Lost World and Tiki-Tahiti Adventure are good steps toward becoming a “more serious” theme park. It’s not big enough to spend a full day (unless you’ve got small kids), but as a half-day stop on the way to bigger parks, it’s perfect. On to Day 2: Potts Park!

  4. After the day we went to Farup Sommerland it was time for Djurs Sommerland. Here is a compilation movie of our day in this park [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Here is a compilation of all the rollercoasters in this park. [youtu_be]https://youtu.be/iIcxL5jIXh4[/youtu_be] In 2016 we’ve had a meeting with the Coaster Heroes with the manager and he told us, that in 2017 a new rollercoaster will raise up. So when we arrived at the park, the first attraction we’re wanted to do , was this new one, called Dragekongen. It was a very nice and smooth coaster, better then I thought, so I was surprised. After that it was time for ‘Jungle Rally’, a kiddiecoaster, this was a surprise for me because I didn’t know that this was there newest coaster, it opened in 2018. When we finished this kiddiecoaster, we saw that the topple tower Ornen was in operation and because this an unique attraction and it’s famous about his many breakdowns, we took our chance. Funny thing is that the next day, this attraction would have is last ride, I read that later on the internet. Now it’s time for some better stuff, let’s go to Juvelen! This is still one of my favourites in the park, that second launch wow! We told Jesse, that it was better to hold his hands, because of the speed, g-forces and fierce curves. Juvelen is done, so let’s visit his neighbour Thor’s Hammer, nice coaster, but not the most original. Now time for a break for Supernovae and me and Jesse goes for the first time alone in the bumpercars. He has to find out how he has to handle the car, but after a little while it’s okay. Suddenly there was a lot of rain and a thunderstorm, so time to hide. After the rainbreak, Jesse wants to cycle skelters for families, so okay. Only thing is that the adults had to cycle, because Jesse was too small to get to the pedals. When Supernovae and I had have our fitness, we decide to take an ice-cream, we wanted one with scoops, whipped cream and glaze. But when we ordered one, the lady at the desk give us twice more than we expected, so it was hard to eat him all the way and we weren’t hungry anymore for the rest of the day. Now it’s time for Vilde Honsejagt After this, we did all the rollercoasters again but then backwards. At the end of the day, Supernovae and I wanted to do Piraten, but Jesse was too small, so we decide that one of us went with Jesse in Skatteøen and the other one, could ride the Intamin beauty and when we finished we changed. After the adults were finished with Piraten, we went in Soulken (a Polyp ride). At the end of the day we did a few rides in Juvelen , we finished the day in Solguden (we always call it Slaslick the ride ) and then it was time to go back to the campsite, the next day we had to wake up very early, because around 7.00 o’clock in the morning the Stenaline would us bring to Gothenburg in Sweden for two days in Liseberg.
  5. Hi guys, It’s has been a while, but here am I again. In the Summerholiday, we (my stephson Jesse, partner ,here he is known as Supernovae, and me ) went to Denmark ,Sweden and Germany to do some amusementparks like Farup Sommerland, Djurs Sommerland, Liseberg and Hansa Park. Early in the morning we left to Denmark, we had plans to do a big stop in Tolk Schau but because of the traffic jam and road works we didn’t had time for it anymore, so with some lunch and toilet stops we drove to our first overnight stay in Denmark, a campsite which was about an hour from Farup Sommerland and one and a half hour from Djurs Sommerland. A nice camping, with simple tiny bungalows. Good enough for 3 nights. The toilets and showers were in a general building, for 5 Krones you had a shower for 3 minutes, I think that I broke my record to take a shower as quick as possible, it was also smelling to rotten eggs in the showerroom, so there was no reason to enjoy the shower, but oke, it’s to be fresh and fruity. Because we booked a campsite between Farup Sommerland and Djurs Sommerland, we could choose between this two parks, to do the next day. We decided to do Farup Sommerland first. In the morning there was a heavy wind, so we counted on bad weather in the park, but fortunately it wasn't that bad. For Jesse was it his first time that he went to Denmark and Sweden, so there were a lot of attractions to discover for him. He could do all the rollercoasters in this park, because in the spring of these year he reached the 1.30 m length. The only attraction that he had to skip was Hvirvelwinden but that was an attraction we didn’t mind to skip. Supernovae and me had been in the park before, in 2016 we had a kind of a VIP tour with the Coasterheroes (our closed friendgroup, with which we visit many parks),so we knew already what this fun park had to offer. It wasn't busy so we could do many attractions, it was also very nice that I could use my gopro at every attraction, unfortunately not every park allows that. The staff was very interactive with the guest (giving high fives when the train leaves and to have a little talk with you, (okay the last one is maybe because we're wearing our Coasterheroes jack, and many people are curious who are the Coasterheroes haha) We didn’t take many pictures, but we made a lot of movies that we used for a compilation video. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]The compilation video. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]All the rollercoasters of Farup Sommerland (if you want you can look at my channel for separately onrides). [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]Two enthausiastic entertainment girls, didn't know what they were yelling, but we asked if it was allowed to put it on youtube They saw my GoPro and they took the chance to do a performance And now…. The pictures! Hello Farup Sommerland here we are (again). Let’s start with the Wild Mouse coaster Flagermusen. Besides the rollercoasters, Jesse also likes the attractions for children, so he wanted to go in the Den Røde Baron, oke have fun boy He was looking for the booster button, but he couldn’t find it Let’s do Lynet! Time to hunt in the Safaribilerne, a tour with Safari cars for the kids. A picture shot of the waterpark, we skipped it because it was too cold and we also didn’t have time for it. Come on Jesse, you are almost at the top A pirate ship a part of the Skattejagten ( a survival course) . Let’s go the get dizzy in the Tønderne. Time to do a Woodie We are number one yeah! Bye Farup Sommerland, till next time
  6. Hi everyone The last weeks a have worked on a River Rapid, called Buffalo Stance. From this attraction I have made a short movie and some screenshots ofcourse. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]The movie At first you will come in the Saloon were piano music is playing, when you leave the Saloon, you will go into the boat and your journey in the wild wild west is started. As you can see; a cowboy looks to the strange people visiting is town. Enjoying the journey through the wild west and its waterfalls. A cowboy is thinking of something at the dead tree. A cowboy has forgotten his hat. The people aren’t happy with the strange people and they are trying to shoot them. O god, we are witnesses of a settlement! A cowboy is looking on his cave, how the strange people left his area. You can also visit this area in the evening. A cozy campfire Before the journey is over, some big waterjets come in your boat.
  7. Thanks Samuel If somebody wants to reply (or just watch the pictures and movie ), please see the other topic : [PLC] One way track I submitted this topic to soon and I don't know how to delete it.
  8. Hello everyone, I will introduce myself at first: I am Iris, a 32 year old (better I prefer young haha) woman, who is addicted to rollercoasters and also loves to play Planet Coaster. With my boyfriend and stephson, I travel to many attractionparks in Europa and I am looking forward to do some rollercoasters across the ocean. Even with our closed group of friends 'The Coaster Heroes' we visit a lot of parks (see the trip-reports of member Supernovae, to see what kind of trips we have done).Since March this year I am also a staffmember of the ECC Benelux. Since spring last year I am one of the lucky owners of Planet Coaster and this is one of the rollercoasters that I have made. It's called 'One way track'. I hope you'll like it and if you have advice or feedback , feel free to share Thanks in advance [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
