  1. It's on the Six Flags St Louis facebook page, and the Flash Sale for current passholders is 2017 Gold Pass for $49.99 each. That's the good part. The bad part is that the Season Dining Passes come up for $200.00! There is no way I'm paying $200 for a Season Dining Pass! THe thing is, that pass doesn't come up as part of the Flash Sale. There's a link to buy it on the Flash Sale page, but it just takes you to the regular Season Dining Pass page, which has no mention of a discount. So, I'm hoping that when September 1st rolls around, there will be a sale on the Season Dining Passes as well. If there's not, well, we'll be spending about one tenth as much time at Six Flags as we have the past few years, since the Dining Pass is a big reason we visit, and we'll be eating outside the park because I will not be paying $10 for a hot dog. Does anyone have any knowledge of whether the price will come down September 1st? I would say with the large number sold this year that lead to huge lines, and unhappy guests, that prices won't be going as cheap this year. Too much of a good thing?
  2. I'm with you on this one. What happened?? Noone is going to say that knows I promise you that, but noone got hurt and that's what's important. If it reopens that means corporate and Intimin cleared it after the incident. I will NEVER be riding another 2nd gen Intimin drop tower again.
  3. It was heavily rumored earlier this season and spoken about, but the trail has gone cold. I would suspect the Free spin has been delayed another year, unless corporate is panicking about this years drop in attendance.
  4. I believe one was sent off to a gentleman in Pacific that specialized in restoring Carousel horses to get an idea of what the restoration cost was. The idea was to send off a few each year and slowly bring the ride back. However like many things it was killed, which shouldn't be a surprise because they cant even keep their rides operational let alone cleaned up. There are what, 5 rides down at the moment, one of them probably wont come back ever and one if we're lucky will be back in time for HIP or FF. SFSTL.net A good lesson though in why strong passwords are a good thing.
  5. It's been looked at by a few companies over the years, including RMC, so most likely yes it won't ever happen. However there has been much talk about reproducing parts as then did with turn one to continue to improve the rides operations and temperature s it can run in.
  6. Yes. Tragic day for us when they moved it to Georgia Is it known why they decided to move it from the third park they built to the second park they built? If I had to guess, Six Flags probably realized there was a greater possible ROI at SFOG than at SFStL. It wouldn't surprise me if SFOG made more money yearly than SFStL. If I remember correctly from back then, the plans had been around for a couple of years and the station would have gone over where American thunder is and gone over the entrance road. To answer the question though, it was in part due to missed goals. In fairness if you have ever ridden it at SFOG, you should be thankful we didn't get it. In other news, rumor has it were capped for awhile at 8 million attractions.
