  1. I plan on going with my family one day next week between the 26th-31st. Which day do you guys think would be the best day to go?
  2. Ikr! I was there yesterday and saw these two girls unlink one of the chains for the screaming eagle queue. They got right in front of 10 other people like it was no big deal.
  3. I'm going on Sunday with my cousin and he loves Christmas! He's going to be very excited to see some HIP decor.
  4. The App says down temporarily The ride was closed all of last night It was closed all day today
  5. I agree and also wondering the same thing...
  6. Yeah...wtf? There's physical damage to one of the cars? :o
  7. But really, have any of the employees at Six Flags St. Louis ever actually gone "above and beyond" doing their job?? It might be hard to see, but we have a couple employees on the board who really do seem to go above and beyond. Although I haven't personally encountered them at the park, I can only assume based on the manner in which they go out of their way to bring us detailed knowledge of attractions and operations, that they probably do a pretty decent job of going above and beyond when they're on the clock. I had no idea that my post would cause a chain reaction. I was trying to bring some positivity into this thread because it has been mostly negative lately. My point was some of the employees really get into their jobs sometimes there and make people smile. Some of them even make personal connections with others. I know how you feel...
  8. The comments from those surveys do get read and they get sent out to the individual departments Managers and Supervisors. We try and make improvements based on the comments but are usually told to "make it happen" without getting any additional funds or resources. As for the other stuff on the surveys I'm not sure who sees that. I'm not even sure if Corporate reads the comments or if it is just to the individual parks. All I know is the departments do see them. I usually make it a goal to point out any staff who were going above and beyond doing their job and really enjoy working in their spot during my visit on the surveys.
  9. True. Yeah if you visit the park sometime before they go back into weekend operations, you could probably get your remaining credits with little wait because of school starting in the area.
  10. Sounds like you had a good time. Do you have a favorite coaster/ride? I wasn't able to ride Justice League when I was there last Saturday because of course it kept breaking down. At one point it was down for over an hour because they had to remove a train that was midway through the course. My favorite coaster is Screamin' Eagle because of the airtime. The back seat has the best airtime. I felt like I was flying out of my seat most of the ride. I also love The Boss and American Thunder. Wow! That's crazy! I hope you get a chance to ride it the next time you visit.
  11. Just got back from the park. American Thunder had only one train running today, but the wait for it was really short. Everything was mostly a walk-on, so we rode everything we wanted to. I rode Justice League for the first time ever and it was awesome! I enjoyed it a lot. Boss had one train running, but they got another staff member there, so they let people on the other one.
  12. Heading out to SFSTL today. It's going to be a hot one today! Heat index is supposed to reach a high of 105 degrees.
  13. Glad you had a great time! Screamin' Eagle is my personal favorite because of the airtime.
