I like this addition.. It fits in perfectly for this area. New Technology a refresh to this building... I personally liked the Scooby Doo ride but when I took my son and friends (all 8 years old) they didn't want anything to with it. Which really surprised me because my son could watch Scooby Doo all day long, My only concern with this new ride is Six Flags going to keep up with the upkeep for this ride. We saw how bad Scooby got with little attention over the years.. How many years will we have the 3d glasses. how long before some of the videos no longer work.

Exactly A 7 story super loop... This concept has been around for decades with the Carnivals... Hopefully Six Flags is going to spend some money with upkeep and maybe some smaller projects.

How can anyone say that there is not value at SFSTL. For $60.00 a year/person You get unlimited fun for 6+ months out of the year. We try to go at least once a month and tell you the truth you can not beat the price. When you consider going to a movie its going to cost you that much for 2 hours worth of value. Going to a sporting event .. Not even close. I love our park I love the value. Don't know what you guys think... Unless this list is wrong. Six Flags just isn't going all out this year.

Was Scooby Doo done by Sally?

With the timing it almost looks like a total re-theme. Scooby was ok. I liked it buy I know 3 eight year olds that hated to ride Scooby.. Not sure why. Could they be tearing the whole ride down and placing something else in this area?

So what exactly is an "interactive train ride"? Did the survey describe what it would be like? Picture that was with the survey showed small train that had laser type guns (scooby doo) and you would shoot at items along the train route. I for one don't want them to do anything with our train.

I was thinking about the Mardi Gras being sort of like Fright Fest but early season when they are open for the weekends.. You could do Decorations, parade, etc... Just a idea

Did anyone get the online customer survey asking about possible new ideas for rides for next year? The three ideas that I was given was 1. Interactive train ride. 2. Mardi Gras theme 3. Christmas in the park . Anyone have any thoughts

Thanks SFZIP for the info... I didn't think the info on the train was correct he specifically was saying that he thought he heard it was going to be the last weekend in April.

As far as Season passes and the finger scans.. I liked how they had it setup on Saturday.. The scanners was having some issues with getting reads as we had to actually try several times before the system accepted them. Going forward will we have to present the card and the scan or how will this work. We all have "memberships".

Made the trip to SFSTL on Saturday for first day... Here are some thoughts on our first trip.. 1.. Disappointed that when we arrived about 10:30 alot of the rides and shops were not operating or open. We ended up leaving about 1:00 so it was a very short trip for us. Captain American was calling. 2. Overall I thought attendance early on was pretty good for opening weekend. 3. The new ride seems smaller than what I thought. (could be from the videos). I do agree with whats been said earlier in that it kinda sits in there kinda weird.. It will be interesting to see how they finish this project.. Has anyone heard when the ride maybe opening for sure? I was thinking like years past that it would be Memorial Day BUT while riding the train they said they had heard it maybe open the last weekend in April 4. Employees.. One of the photographers came over and offered to take a picture of the group.. (I usually decline the parks photos) but this time he asked if I wanted him to take a group picture with me included with my camera... This happened 3 more times inside the park also. I thought this was very cool. Overall being the first day and everything I think they employees were very friendly and went out of their way to make being at Six Flags a good expierence. 5. Overall had a good trip even the lack of rides being open.. Wish we could have spent more time there on Saturday but hey we have all season.
