Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts started the construction of a new luxury resort at Walt Disney World last week during a special ceremony.
The 444-room resort, being built in the enclave of Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resort, will open in 2014.
The resort will feature a rooftop restaurant with views of the Magic Kingdom, three pools and an artificial river, a 14,000-square-foot spa, and a living and event space.
The new resort will be located next to the Tom Fazio-designed Osprey Ridge 18-hole championship golf course, which is to be renovated and managed by Four Seasons.
