  1. MayTheGForceBeWithYou: Thanks, it was a great time. Granted going up in MN I have been there a few too many times.... Electerik: Yes. They end up living in vans down by the river. jynx242: YOu are most welcome for posting. I have to say I feel like everyone views Minnesota as this weird winter tundra and honestly it's not. Valleyfair is a fantastic little park and I highly recommend people visit there. It is most certainly worth the credits however, we do need a B & M. Enough of that though. Many forget about the north shore along lake superior too, great place, definitely worth checking out everyone.
  2. Well after years of watching this site, browsin' the forum, enjoying TRs and being amazed by many a members talent at No Limits, I finally decided to jump on board and post some pictures. So to introduce myself somewhat... I'm a crazy white minnesotan student who love the adrenalin of roller coasters and is kidna nuts about photography. These were taken in the summer of '09 I believe with my older Nikon Coolpix p90 (if anyone has a DSLR .... I'd be happy to take donations). A group of coworkers and myself decided to head down to Valleyfair for a summer day off and had an absolutely perfect day of riding. Hope you all enjoy the mini - TR, hopefully soon I will have better and more extensive reports. Reginald. The day started out horrible, on the drive out we had some rather serious weather and almost turned back. I am thankful we did not. And here we are, rain, rides, and an empty lot. Self explanatory photo. Maybe the rain wasn't bad after all....... I could definitely get used to this. Too bad Cedar Point doesn't have lines like this.... Rain was gone around 11 or so, the park was empty and after a few mandatory Steel Venom front row rides we hit the rest of the park. And made it a whole 50 feet before we rode this. The clouds made for a perfect day of riding. next up was the Wild Thing, we took quite a few trips on that, including some that we just passed through the station without getting off. Yup. I have to say this is one of the most entertaining things to watch people go on for the first time. Got some good laughs out of that today... After someone wet their pants they needed a rinse cycle. I was designated sherpa/photographer/.... lame kid that didnt get in the water cause it was cold out. Just kidding about the pants. Nom. S & S Family photo. S & S XXX. High Roller was running swell today... got a few good rides on that as well, the op was giving the instructions with a faux Australian accent. It was quite fake. At least he was making the best of a slow day. The newer of the wooden coasters, Renegade has been a fantastic addition to the Valleyfair arsenal. Great ride, even better at night. Hay mas aqui. But I didn't want to sneak my camera on the ride. Or lose it while riding. So.. .no more than these two. The clouds had returned and we decided after many re-rides, foodage, gameage, nerdage, and one of the best days anyone could ask for, we decided to call it a day and head back to work. Oh. Yeah. These guys outnumbered the guests probably 3 to 1. Last shot of the day. More to come soon I hope.
