Just following the invitation to introduce myself.
It is mainly my son, Michael, who is interested in the coasters, He is now 7 and has been regularly glued to the site since he was 4 years old. If he cannot get his regular fix of watching coaster downloads we are in trouble.
We live near York and regularly go to Lightwater Valley and FlamingoLand. So far I have been able to avoid riding the big coasters but he just turned 1.3 metres last month. He went on the Ultimate at Lightwater valley once, then had to ride it another 5 times in succession! I watched but he made me feel so ashamed of myself that he has made me promise to go on with him before the end of the season. He assures me that it is not as bumpy as some people say but I am not so sure. I had huge bruises once from the little Beastie coaster at Alton Towers so am wondering how many layers of padding I should wear for a real coaster.
