  1. The Chargers got ROBBED today! horrible officiating!
  2. Oh I was reading about that. What's the deal with that thing? Does the real park close down that day to prepair for it? Or can you still go to Universal Studios during the day even if you don't plan on doing the Horror Nights?
  3. Staying on property is a good choice. I stayed at Universal's cheapest hotel last year and it was awesome. Every bit as nice as a Disney Deluxe hotel. They do you give you Express Passes if you stay on-property, which is a nice perk to have even if the parks aren't that busy. No line beats a short line. If you stay for just one night, Universal gives you Express Passes on both days. However, they do not give you Express Passes for HHN, at least they didn't last year. That costs extra. what's HHN?
  4. Hey everybody, so I'm going to be in Orlando in begining-mid October and most of my vacation will be centered around the Universal Studios Resort. So I have a few questions. First of all, what do you think the crowd will be like over there around that time? I'll be going to the theme park on a Thursday. Second of all, I'm staying at one of the resort's hotels and I was wondering if anyone knew about their "hotel guests skip the lines" thing they have going on. Third of all, I was wondering about the various rides they have over there; especially at Islands of Adventure. We'll have kind of a diverse group with myself as the lone coaster fan, are there a good amount of gentler rides there that are still fun? Thanks for all the help!
  5. Hi everybody, So in October, I will be taking a vacation to Orlando and have two days open for theme park visits. I was wondering what you guys thought would be the ideal parks to visit. I've already been to MGM Studios and Epcot so those are out and don't really want to go to Universal Studios. So that leaves me choosing from Sea World, Islands of Adventure, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. I have two days for theme parks and I will be the only intense roller coaster fan in our party, so a park with a couple of big coasters as well as lots of non coaster stuff to do is what we're looking for. Also, I live in San Diego and have plenty of experience with Sea World San Diego and Disneyland...so I don't know if that would take away from the enjoyment of their Orlando counterparts. Thanks so much!
