The maker of Grizzly Mountain has not been decided, it is between a number of companies at the moment.Grizzly Mountain Coaster is confirmed as a Vekoma reversing coaster, much like Everest but the ride will have launches rather than traditional lifts. There may be a small lift at some point in the ride.As far as HKDL is confirmed, that is in fact an Intamin halfpipe, themed to the RC Racecar from the Toy Story films. They are also building a land with the same rides at Walt Disney Studios in Paris.

At one point, didn't Disney say that Murphy would lean down to the water when she 'lights the river on fire', or am I just imagining things?
They actually presented a video of the model of the dragon lighting the river on fire. It swang it's neck around the entire river, it was very impressive.

Looks interesting. I wish I had enough maps to participate.

^^According to Screamscape, the lake will be re-filled sometime in July after work on the Sunwheel (Mickey Wheel), the Orange Stinger (Silly Symphony Swings), and World of Color is completed.Ride Rehabs - The following information is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate.
Burger Invasion – NOW CLOSED through May 2010
Sun Wheel – NOW CLOSED through 4/23/09
Boudin Bakery / Bakery Tour – 2/23/09 through Spring 2009
King Triton’s Carousel – 3/9/09 through ????
Paradise Bay – Drained and Under Construction NOW through July 2009
No. It won't be filled until December of next year. Or around that time. there is no exact date because it isn't really an attraction. But come July and the won't be even close to finishing the pipes and hardware for World of Color. Also, the new seating area won't open till November I believe.

Wow! The theming looks incredibly elaborate. Sea World id doing a great job. The hidden manta's are obvious their answer to hidden mickeys!

The mid course break run was meant to control the speed and such for the Splash down that follows.

Q5) Tatsu, Six Flags Magic Mountain
Q6) Unique elements such as pretzel loops, vertical lifts and such.
Q7) An element with very intense G-Forces
Q8) Yes
Q9) Only if executed with a nice theme
Q10) Yes, absolutely
Q11) I rather not see the ride if the queuing is nicely themed.
Q12) Long ride/long queue I rather have a much longer and more exciting ride rather than a ride that is short for smaller lines
Q13) I would like to see more high quality rides with high grade theming.

So has anybody else heard any updates about this new coaster? I think since the park is now closed they can focus on getting approval for the ride.

Defenitly a very unique layout. Also very fast. Although the drop doesn't seem as impressive as previous GCI coasters.

Low tech, this ride is anything but low tech. It utilizes incredible interactivity that is unavailable any where else in the world. Plus it features a very well thought out, very detailed story.
