Central Florida is in the typical summer weather pattern. Beautiful in the morning and early afternoon. Mid to late afternoon is when the Thunderstorms roll in. Most of the time they're over in about 30 minutes minutes, 1 hour max. It'll be this way until later this month, early October.

That looks horrible. My girlfriend's company picnic was there this year, and Cypress Gardens reps went to every location of the company (Watson Clinic in Lakeland) to sell the employees year long passes at a "reduced" rate before the employees knew the company was having it's picnic at CG. Tons of people spent the $60 for passes then 2 weeks later they were told they can buy passes for $20/person. I'm glad we decided to go to Universal Orlando instead that day. Cypress Gardens looks awful. I, too, miss Boardwalk & Baseball

Na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye. I know a lot of people will argue or disagree with me. But I have never liked the ride. I'm just not into motion simulators, which is probably what the new ride will be. So, I won't like the new ride any better. edit: Woohoo, second post. I'll go back to lurking now.
