World Joyland loosely borrows proven properties and re-interprets them. Much of the park looks like it was ripped from World of Warcraft and Starcraft. With that said, the park does a good job with the recreation. The stand out ride in the park is the B&M Flyer, which proves that B&M can still deliver the goods if a park has the desire. Many of the attractions at the park are indoors enabling one to have a fun day even in bad weather. It also helps offset the lack of shade. Heaven Trip of Demogoagan is a very long version of IOA's Spiderman. Some of the effects are well done, but not always.
The park brings games to life with two free video play areas along with the quirky Soul Hunter where teams of six enter a haunted house and walk through playing a live video game. Also in the kids area is Adventure of Moles, a unique interactive movie where each member of the audience uses a joystick/control panel to assist the character in the movie.
