The Ultimate TPR Tokyo DisneySea Update!        The Ultimate TPR Tokyo Disneyland Update!

So let's go from retro attractions to the NEW HOTNESS!!! Monster Inc, Ride & Go Seek was one of the newest attractions during our visit, and if you wanted to ride without a huge line...you needed to get here EARLY to get a Fast Pass!

OMG! And when we said huge line for the ride...we meant it...except...that's not the line for the ride...it's the line just to get a Fast Pass!!!

Thankfully, one of the things Japan is awesome for is their efficient and amazing operations. Just look for the person holding up the sign at the end of the line...

And it only actually took me about 5 minutes to get through this craziness! It might look insane, but the Japanese people are all very polite and orderly. There was no line cutting, no pushing, no rude behaviour, basically, anything you're used to at the California Disneyland in terms of rudeness doesn't happen here! =)

Yes! Got my Fast Pass...now we just have to wait a couple more hours and we can ride!

Fortunately for the internet, you don't have to wait that long! Oh! Random question - the removed their own "Carousel Theater" show to put in this ride. Does anyone know if this building used to be the old carousel? It seemed like sort of an awkward building, a huge round area, and the space seemed to be used strangely. Like as in "we have this pre-existing building, what are we going to do with it?"

Why, thank you Mr. TV Screen!

Roz explains a bit of the ride. It's sort of like a shooting dark ride, except it's more of a 'pointing' dark ride. You are given a flash light and you have to point it to look for stuff. That's the gist of it! Oh yeah, and Roz says "Watch this video...."

The ride vehicles are VERY different from anything else we've ever seen.

Sully gives you a bit of a run-down on how to use your Flashlight. (It's pretty complicated, I mean, it's a flashlight.)

Oh, yeah, watch out for Randall! He's lurking around somewhere, and I hear he really does NOT like flashlights!

Point your flashlights at the M hats and they do stuff...

The street scene was like something right out of Men In Black. I can't help to feel like it was totally ripped off!

If you can find the sushi, you can eat them!

Of course Randall gets squished or something. Oh, sorry, was that a spoiler? Ooops!

And Boo makes it home alive and stuff...

"Hello everyone ! Check me out in my weird car!"

Oh, yeah, Roz insults you and stuff she told me "Your fat and balding...go eat more gravy"

And of course you exit the ride into the gift shop where instantly your children say "Can you please buy me $746 dollars worth of stuff?"

The winner of today's "Weird Ride Merchandise Award" is this "Roz Costume Set!" Apparently all you need is the beads and glasses...and POOF! You're Roz!
