robbalvey
^ Out of curiosity with the topic, where does Legend rank for you now with the new track and where does Thunderbird rank in comparison with the other B&M Wings? Oh man, that's waaaaay too much thought to put into it. They both rank "somewhere in the middle" and that's all I've got! lol  Honestly, I don't take my own rankings that seriously. I basically vote like this:  1. Coasters I really like 2. Coasters I really hate 3. The rest of them  Voyage falls into category #2, Raven falls into category #1, and the others you mentioned are "the rest of them."'  I've never been one to sit there and dissect a roller coaster into vast pieces of minutia. I ride them and scream like a little girl. Haven't you ever seen our videos???   EDIT: I didn't even know Legend had 'new track' and if I rode it again, I probably wouldn't even notice... PKI Jizzman
Time hop reminded me that my last visit to Holiday World was 5 years ago today! Â I still think highly of Voyage but it's been 5 years since my last visit and I know the wishy washy reputation, it's still a top wooden coaster on the poll. HW does the best they can to take care of the coaster (remember Timberliners?) but I wonder when they might take different actions to preserve the Voyage
805Andrew
^ I hadn't ridden The Voyage before last year so I can't speak about the past but it was running really good during Holiwood Nights last year. It's still not butter smooth but it was the smoothest of the three woodies I rode there and I loved the layout through the woods. Raven was a bit rough but it had a great layout and was still fun so I forgave it, although I liked Legend better it. Maybe if the Voyage gets rough again they could put RMC topper track on it but I personally don't wish for the layout to be altered too much. Now if Holiday World wants put a custom RMC through the woods I would totally be on board with that. I think Holiday World would be great for a terrian RMC Raptor that goes through the woods as they could use another steel coaster. Â Anyways here are my top 10 woodie rankings: Â 1. Phoenix - Knoebels (#12 overall) 2. El Toro - SF Great Adventure (#13 overall) 3. The Voyage - Holiday World (#17 overall) 4. GhostRider - Knott's Berry Farm (#33 overall) 5. Mystic Timbers - Kings Island (#37 overall) 6. The Legend - Holiday World (#39 overall) 7. Thunderbolt - Kennywood (#44 overall) 8. Ravine Flyer II - Waldameer (#46 overall) 9. Gold Striker - CA Great America (#48 overall) 10. Lightning Racer - Hersheypark (#55 overall) . . . 20. Raven - Holiday World (out of 40 woodies ranked) Â I'm sure my rankings will change a bit after visiting Europe this July.
