jarmor
Annnndddd we're back! As we all know HHN orlando is a big deal. This guy isn't letting something small like house arrest stop him from coming! I ran into some new yorkers who came thurs night and was only about to do 3 house. I took it upon myself to show them how its done and we were gonna get it all done in one night, thanks to stay and scream. First house . . . Great house! How did they manage to find all the jasons I have no idea! But they were all tall and bulky like the movies. Love the transition from crystal lake to elm street and back between each one. Let's move on to a classic. I think this is the first time in modern history of HHN that they have brought back a house in its entirety. And I'm not mad about it at all! The wolves are bigger and its even an extra one. It was cool hearing the new yorkers say it was just like the movie! Next up . . . Walking back there affords some cool shots! Let's go back In time . . . I just love this house! All the scenes blended seamlessly and they picked a good selection. Opening weekend when I came it seemed they had regular clowns. Now they've got it right and jack was all thru the house! Let's move along. Uh oh . . . 20 minutes???? Deep breath. False alarm! Ended up being a walk on . . . Or is that in? Anyway check out that georgous facade . . . Now this is more like it! And of course the facade. Let's run . . . To RUN! Here comes the contenders. Let's go! Now on to the die-in Time was winding down (park was getting crowded) so I decided to take one more stab at the walking dead . . . I just don't know. I felt this house was not good . . . At all. Has the theme reached its peak? Was last season just meh? I dunno. Time to year out, an early morning awaits me! Before I go, I ran into this celeb!!! Still looks great! Doesn't look a day over 600! Lol lol. Ok guys tune in for the next stop . . .
jarmor
Alright! Next stop on the #EpicHalloweenAdventure . . . Yep . . . The entertainment capital of L.A., and also the home of halloween horror nights hollywood! I love doing both parks HHN back to back as it keeps it all fresh in my head and of course for bragging rights lol. I dread theme parks on a saturday so I was bummed when I found out the VIP option was not available so I'll do the next best thing . . . Something looks strangely familiar. First house of the night! Much like orlandos, this house lost me. Was suppose to be the. Ingest house in Hollywood history. Didn't that longer than most to me. Next up, insidious! The best house to me at hollywood! Love the energy of the scaractors. The dark areas were kinda meh. I know it was suppose to be the further but I remember fog before. Decided to do the 3D house. Guess if I had seen the movie I would understand this house more. It was fun though. Not sure why use content you have to bleep out every other word though. Well, took the tram to the backlot for the other 2 houses. I had no idea what was going on in crimson peak other than seeing the same woman over and over. I guess when the movie comes out it will male sense. Did AVP which was a carbon copy of last year. I ended up skipping Halloween due to the length of the line. Overall I like HHN hollywood but its just not orlandos just yet! Off to the next destination!
jarmor
So, after a day of SFA (08/08/15) I decided to spend an evening at Kings Dominion. And since I knew it would be impossible to get night rides on this tomorrow . . . Sigh . . . Just look at it. But im really here for this! The next morning, 08/09/15, I went back to the park for a full day. If course there is a problem with this one. Love arriving early to the parks for some tranquil moments like this. There it is . . . Tada! I haven't been on it since the re-profile. Gotta love these early morning lines. That woke me up! Since im kinda hungry I decided to get some food. Not a good decision lol. Awwwwww. . . Time to get my last ride. R.I.P. Shockwave. Moving right along, its time for some water park fun! Hi Carowinds! New this (last) year was an awesome slide tower . . . coming to a Cedar Fair park near you. Its more intermediate and thrill slides oriented. I LOVE drop floor slides. It's about the only way I will ride a speed slide. Also a nice place to get some good views of Intimidator 305. Lets check out the rest of the water park. I was excited to find some dole whip! Since I have a Plat pass, I figured I might as well check out DIno alive since I had time until the cirque show . . . Always has been a nice little coaster. Grit your teeth . . . oh wait They are about to experience thu . . . nevermind. I am gonna kinda miss thunder road. ooooouuuhhhhh . . . Ahhhhhhhhhh. . . These are some of the best looking, to me, theme park shirts! Unfortunetly, none of the other parks had one like it.
jarmor
Hey guys I'm back! And coming to you live from a very rare place that no one seems to visit . . . Sesame Place! I drove by twice but I made it! I'm basically here for this . . . I feel like a dirty credit whore. Very small park . . . Grover is out and proud of his coaster! Looks like I got here just in time! There it goes . . . Let's see if it was worth the visit??? Alright coaster. Great for kids. Let's look around . . . As you can see. Kinda empty. The park is a combo water park and kids rides park. Well, enough of this park, onwards to the next "adventure" .
jarmor
Moving right along . . . Let's get on some real coasters! What's that I see? And here I thought they hated each other . . . Obligatory shot! Let's go. Typical theming. The verdict??? Liked it a hell of a lot better than the Zac spins! The time has finally come. I've been here another time and it wasn't running but today is the day! Just look at it. What are these doing here??? For my first ride, I went for the back! Now I need to lose weight as I had a tight ride. It was really good! Went got a front seat ride and thought it was better but this hill . . . Should be illegal! Great ride. Wish more were states side. Skipped this . . . For this. . . Pretty much this was how the park was all day. I'll get it next time. Let's take the sky ride to the other side! Who will finish first!?!?! Let's check out skull mountain. Skull mountain is so ghetto till you just love it lol. Hi! I wish I could trade intimidator at Carowinds for nitro . . . I tried to resist buying food in the park but between the heat and hustling around, I had to. Noodles were dry as hell and overall taste like it was sitting, but good flavor. Joker made up for it. The longest train I've seen! Dueling hero's! That that universal. . . I actually liked green Lantern. Much better than my ride on mantis! Oh well . . . Until next time. jarmor
OK, I wanna go on record and state that today happened to be the worst day I have ever had in coaster history! But it was still a great one. Let's get right to it. Today I ventured to Six Flags New England. It's been a goal of mines, ever since I saw the Riverside cyclone in coaster books when I was much younger, to come to this park and I finally achieved it. First order of business . . . Due to the VR I have seen where the line could get awfully long. So I made it my business to make this a first ride of the day. Got in the station in no time and passed up the chance for the VR. First ride, back seat. Those plates on the side of the restraint dug into me so hard that I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I could. So I came right back for a front seat ride. Well, I couldn't get that but 3rd row isn't bad. That was a far better ride than the back, to me, Unfortunately do to the slow dispatch, it's hard to get trains on the track. Looks like the mouse had issues. Whoa, that's actually and evacuation! The park is pretty nice looking. Checked out dark night. Packs a punch for a small coaster. On to hurricane harbor. Im a big water park person and I was pleasantly surprised here! First up, the pipeline! I'm not sure who did these but it's sure different from all the ones I've been on. Overall fun slides! Now for the attraction I've been waiting for? I absolutely love water coasters! It's just something about being on a wild water slide that's combined with coaster elements. I hope and pray cedar fair considers these for their parks. Did I mention I loved water parks! Soak it all in! SFoG??? Guess it's time . . . Is this a sign? Yeah, it was awful. Way worst than SFA's SLC. Looking in the distance, I'm having a severe case of deja vu. But first. . . This had, at the time I went, one of the longer lines of the day. To me, the line was due to one train ops and not being allowed to touch the orange lap bars and unlocking of the cars one by one. Back at SFoG again??!! I thought I would have never seen one of these again, in person. And with a line like this . . . I have to say, the new trains led to a kinda rough ride. Honestly, I was ready for it all to end after the first leg. I think o would have rather been on this . . . Instead of this . . . Now, for a nice change of pace , this great coaster! This was a very fun coaster and I wonder why it didn't become the batman the ride of the chain! Ahhhhh, there it is. Finally, I saved the best for kinda last! And to top it off the line is only to the bottom of the stairs! Wait . . . Why the empty train? Noooooo ooooomg closed due to storms 5 miles away! Just what I get for waiting. Might as we'll move on to something else. I did houdini at SFGadv yesterday and I have to say, this version seemed pretty incomplete, story wise. My plans were to get to Lake compounce by 4 so I left without getting wicked cyclone but that was OK cause I had boulder dash to look forward to! Well, guess what? They were closed as well! Apparently, it stormed badly so they decided to close early even though when I got there it wasn't storming more. No problem, let's head to quassy ! Omg not again!!! Guess who else closed did to the rain!?!?! So yeah, I missed some very great credits. But tomorrow is a latter day.

SFOG1991
That's the worst luck. I hate when that happens on trips. I was at Dorney when there was a power outage that delayed us over two hours getting to Knoebels. We would've just left but we still had Steel Force and Demon Drop left and decided it couldn't take thatttt long (but it did). I guess those kinds of things just happen! I also just realized we were at KD the same day last year. Surprised I didn't see you and recognize you from your TRs.
jarmor
Ok ok . . . talk about a delay! Moving right along to dorney! First stop, this life saver . . . The perk of being a pass member here is the early water park entry. The entrance to this park has always been nice and welcoming. One of the older slides in the water park. See, the water park seems to be the main draw to Dorney park. If you aren't there early, it will be a long day for you. The locker room also doubles are support for talon. I don't know if my "boy's were lose due to the warmness but these racing slides did a number to my jewels. I have been on several others but these were the first to literally burst my balls. These slides look familiar? Wild Water kingdom has an assortment of classic slides and new ones. And good views of the main park. . . The #MoneyShot I'm a fan of theme park tank tops. Needless to say I had to add this one to my collection. Ok lets ride some coasters! I think talon is a pretty solid inverted coaster. It makes a great front gate statement and is strangely quiet. It's nice to see this ride still around seeing parks seem to be getting rid of them. I was advised to head to this as the lines can build up. After taking the train I headed to Hydra. I dunno, I just wish it was "more". It is an ok ride, just wish more happen. Anyone else feel like that? After hearing the talk about the flume I figured I had to do it. Surprisingly it was no wait . . . It was decent. Didn't see what all the fuss was about but it was was fun none the least. Nice to see a classic still around. Decided to take advantage of my dining plan and got some bbq. After sitting around and some other rides, checked out the newly refurbed wooden coaster! I wonder how wild of a ride it could have been without the trim. oh well. I will be back with more pictures from Knoebels!
jarmor
I swear i'm gonna catch up before the next trip . . . Well I finally went to knoebels. After always reading about the park and hearing about it from friends I decided to finally experience Knoebels for myself. Did a half day at Dorney so I can take what I THOUGHT was a short ride to Knoebels lol. After google maps taking me on a dead end placed in a very scary spot, I finally made it. Of course I took advantage of the cheaper tickets! Once I pulled up I was like oooookkkkk . . . Then I was like, "where in the hell am I" lol. Then alas! Now i'm getting excited! My first impression of the park, I felt as I have been time warped back to the 70's. All of the retro rides and atmosphere was really nice. First order of business! I liked it. It's not the stand out attraction in the park but a good coaster none the least. After that ride, I had to seek out the reason I was here . . . perogies! I didn't know what the hell a perogie was until reading about them on here. All I know is that I had to have them and I had to get them from here. Man oh man! They were simply delicious. i was tempted to drink the butter but I had to hold my composure lol. My next mission the flyers . . . Every one raves about these flyers. My first flyer experience were the flyers taken from Kings Islands and sent to Carowinds so I guess lucky for me I had some experience with real flyers. HOWEVER, I couldn't seem to get my grove on these. I think it was me though. Moving on to my next mission . . . The infamous flying turns! I have been watching this coaster and awaiting its completion for the last 20 years like the rest of you guys . The day was finally here to experience a one of a kind ride that has been long gone for some time. My first and only ride was in the front (guess cause I was a fat boy) and it seemed more out of control compared to avalanche at Kings Dominion. I would have ridden again but the line, while short, can definitely take some time. Gotta love those classic rides. It seems this park as a lot of my bucket list attractions. Like this one . . . I remember seeing the story on one of those travel channel coaster specials while I was in high school and I really thought nothing of the coaster. As I got older and saw more and more of it, I realized what a gem this coaster was. After waiting a very short time I was on and ready to ride. Man, looks are intimidating! That coaster was flying and never seem to let up. For my first ride, I sat in the "sweet" seat and I was very impressed. I got off and got right back on! I decided to check out the two dark rides the park had to offer. They were both long and had some nice sets, especially the haunted house. Now back to these classic rides . . . As was walking by I noticed the bumper cars, then I noticed them! At first I was like, "is this legal??" lol. What a way to relieve some stress lol. Man, why can't most parks have nice things like this. Oops, almost forgot about twister! Honestly, I never really knew much about Twister but I was soon gonna find out. That was one wild ride. I mean I was being thrown all over the train! It seems as if I were the novice as everyone was ok with throwing their hands up as I held on for deal life. Once getting off and looking at the on-ride photo, There was no way I could not get it lol. After a ride on the drop tower, it was time to go. What I thought was gonna be just a couple hours ended up being an entire evening. Between the food, the rides and atmosphere I must say this now one of my top 5 parks to visit! jarmor
Ok ok . . . I am horrible at this lately lol. I am a year behind on this but hey, i'm here to catch up! Now where were we . . . oh yes, Hershey park now! This is the last park on the great no'east trip so it's kinda bittersweet. Lets begin. . . Got in the park and headed straight to fahrenheit. I have heard nothing but great things about this coaster so it was time to find out. Getting closer! Something is missing. Oh yeah . . . I really enjoyed it! Very fun and reridable. I was advised to haul tail to laugh trakk afterwards. Entering the queue I was impressed. Very trippy! Lets have some fun . . . Time to board . . . I think that was my first time on one of those spinners. I love when parks go above and enclose coasters like this. Moving right along . . . Lightning racer. Rode one side then it went down. Man, it was smooth! At this point, i'm looking forward to the other side. Took a stroll through the "water park". Since I was over by wildcat I figured i'd might as well ride. What the hell happen?!?!? I mean you have lightning racer, in the back, with its almost smooth as glass experience then you have this thing! lol. Time to head to the other side of the park. But, lets ride the boomerang because you have to ride every boomerang. This one has the vest restraints so it made the experience better. But was really made it better to me was the lines . . . Speaking of lines, lets head to Storm Runner. Most of the lines in the park were like this all day so I was a happy camper since I didn't have an entire day to experience the park. Storm runner blew me away. Of course its a short coaster but a fun one no less. Lets admire it. Rode the mine train, meh but afterwards I got hungry and being a pig i was craving BBQ. And I found it. With a full belly its time to go ride great bear. The lines were starting to show by this time so it was a slight wait. Some people seem to not like the layout, particularly the helix in the beginning, but I rather enjoyed the coaster. What a classic . . . The log flume here was insane looking. The boats literally skipped across the trough. I was shocked lol. Soar great bear! Speaking of a classic, the infamous hersheypark comet! The time has come. I will finally get to experience Skyrush. I don't know how to describe it other than if my thighs could divorce me. they definitely would have that day lol. Very intense ride but I couldn't see myself riding more than twice in a row. I had a wing seat so I heard they aren't the best but yeah, my thighs! After doing the dark ride I headed back to lightning racer to finish the pair. Overall I really liked Hersheypark. Looking forward to going back again . . .
jarmor
09/16/16, it's time for halloween horror nights and what better way to start it off??? Oh yeah, one of my favorite times of year is upon us. Don't mind me, i'm just getting "ready". Its strange you can't bring drinks you brought right outside the gate but don't worry, I will fix that. I'm in! But first, I need a drink. Don't judge me . . . Lets go in some houses . . . I like getting there early, so I can knock out a few houses before the crowds come. Then I can pace myself and do some repeats, all while not having express. Moving right along. #Iconic I'm in my "safe space" ! Whats that smell??? Moving right along to what was the weakest house of the year, but still fun. Lets check out some scarezones. Take a chance??? Lets go visit a house. But first, ROCKIT! My mother does WHAT in WHERE?!?!? It's getting darker, lets go back through some zones. After along night I decided to get a shrimp po'boy. I really like the food selection for HHN. It's all the bad things you should be eating that taste sooo good lol. Well, that's it for now . . .
Canobie Coaster
Great report! I missed out on this one last year but read through the latter reports. Hershey is a great park and I'm glad you loved the Intamin collection. I agree Skyrush is tricky to marathon but it's worth it for that intensity. That's a shame you missed out on Wicked Cyclone and Connecticut's woodies due to the weather. All 3 are great and are worth coming back for in the future. Arthur_Seaton
I think Lightning Racer was the standout coaster for me at HP, followed closely by Fahrenheit. I liked Great Bear just fine, even though I'm not a huge invert fan, but it was the second half (not the first) that I found more puzzling. It was as if the designer hit "autocomplete" just to get the track to reach the station again. Cool pics, Jarmor!

To me it just felt very "average." It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I've been on rougher, but I've also been on smoother. Maybe I didn't get good rides (I did ride each side multiple times), but I've just never understood the praise for that ride. It simply felt like a very "average" GCI woodie. To each his own I guess. Or maybe the fact that the greatest, most precious Intamin creation in the United States resides at the park and puts every other nearby coaster to shame. Who knows! Oh, and great report! It's never too late!
jarmor
Thanks guys. I have some down time since having my foot reconstructed so I will be well caught up by the time I can ride again. I hate I missed the CT coasters. I really wanted to ride boulder dash, oh well. Back to the adventures! Every October I have been taking, what I have dubbed as, "The Epic Halloween Adventure" tour which consist of attending Howl-O-Scream, Halloween Horror Nights (Orlando), Horror Nights (Hollywood) and Knott's Scary Farm. Man, last year was a doozy. Being in South Carolina, the last couple years the weather has been horrible in october. I normally take this trip utilizing public transportation only and it has worked perfectly in the past but lately UGH! So the day before my trip the hurricane came. My transportation down to Orlando was amtrak . . . was until they canceled due to the weather. No problem. I immediately start to look for a one way rental car and found one for under 20.00! After driving through country roads (since the interstate was only going one way for evacuees)) I was able to hit 95 with no problem, or so I thought. As I was driving I received an alert that my flight out of MCO was canceled! Keeping my cool I was able to change it to fly out of TPA. Things are looking up right? Then it hit me, my one was rental was to be returned to MCO! Was also able to call and change that to TPA and cancel my hotel room in Orlando since there was a no go for HHN. Well anyway, on to HOS. Oct 06, 2017, another season of screams is about to began. Just look at it . . . Unfortunately, no time for cheetah hunt tonight. But I have time for this! I always do the buffet before as it includes an hour of front of the line access so it is definitely worth the investment. The houses. What can I say? Busch seems to reuse a bulk of the same houses each year. While this can be good for first timers it can become redundant to those who come yearly. I have to admit, the houses are pretty good. They rely more on scares vs props like HHN so its a good balance for central fla. I did rather enjoy their new maze as it was very large and long. Well, the next day I went back to the park since all of central fla was closed. It also seemed no one figured the park would be open as well. Let's get a good look at. Overall, I feel it's a good family coaster. Wouldn't mind seeking more coasters like it pop up. It seemed very complete with the spinning and backwards sections. Loves how it sorta interacts with Montu. Well hello Cheetah Hunt! Figured i'd ride the kiddie coaster since no one else wanted to . . . And get my character credit! Cant forget Sheikra! After sleeping in the car (since it was no rooms available in the area) it was time to head out west and it looks like I made it! First order of business, getting to Pinks hot dogs. After checking into the Hilton it was time to head to the parks for early entry. In case you needed to know where I was . . . What is this sorcery?!?!? They wouldn't let us in as we had bands for early entry. No biggie, i've done orlando's so much anyway. Anyway, back to HHN. First house of the night, The Exorcist. What I basically remember of the house is that it was very dark for a good portion lol. Some good scares but I could see the scenic improve. Moving right along. To get to the backlot it takes a good bit of walking. But it's well worth it. It's time for Krampus. There were a lot of skinny krampus running around lol. One thing I like about HHN in hollywood is they are dedicated to the scare. Guess they figure everyone is gonna be stoned anyway so no need to go all out on scenic. I rather enjoyed it. Since Orlando has taken their crack on Freddy vs. Jason, it was time for Hollywood. It was one of the better maze. I guess cause its choked full of iconic scenes and characters. Lets see what's up with this . . . I should have expected this with the popularity of American Horror Story. But Holy hell this is one long line! Finally I made it . . . 3 days later lol. It was worth the wait. Again, this are "bigger" in Orlando but still it was a great house to experience. Definitely the best there. Now its time to leave this backlot and head to Halloween. Meh, it was good but I don't remember much of it now. Not anything against the maze but I think i'm "halloween'd" out. Time to check out the terror tram . . . or whatever its called lol. The park decided to switch it up this year and have it over ran by killer clowns, who were not from out of space. It is considered a maze but its, to me, a very long and one directional scare zone. Fun, but a scare zone. I've put it off the entire trip but it's time for the walking dead. Now, I was a diehard fan of the show then it got slower and slower. Unfortunately this maze is no different. I was thinking it would be choked full of zombies as this is a permanent attraction but it seemed like it was the same as the day time videos I have saw. Loved the scenes but it just felt short to me. One more house to go . . . The last and final house of the night. Man, it felt like this line went on forever and ever lol. Texas Chainsaw was pretty good. Love how they incorporate outdoor sections in every one I have been through. But this time the night was young but not for me as I was extremely tired. So that's it for me. Time to go get some sleep . . . The next morning I got up and after breakfast got ready to take the journey to LAX to get a rental as I was heading to Scary farms that night and SFMM the next day. Didn't take many pictures at all at Scary farms as nothing had really changed from years past. But I had a "hunch" I needed to ride this as when I returned the next year it probably wasn't gonna be there . Like HOS at busch gardens, KSF also uses the same mazes each year with a new one here and there. I have the same sentiments as I do with HOS but I still have fun none the least. This year I decided to check out elvira as she seems to be a popular staple at KSF each year. Man, what a show! The fact that it was included in admission was worth admission alone. I cant wait to try it out this year . . . If I can make it back. Well, the "Epic Halloween Adventure" has come to a close. Until next time. jarmor
October 10th 2016 Lets try SFMM again. The last time I was here I had the scare of my life as my phone flew off Green Lantern and I lost the rental car keys so lets hope for the best lol. May the odds be in my favor lol. I missed out on a lot of credits last time but i'm gonna make up for it this time around! Such a classic . . . Lets see if it's the best! It was more intense than say, Manta, but I like the area around Manta more. These are rare and I was fortunate enough to be able to ride this one. Sucks this is closed but if it rides like my last right, I think I may say it was divine intervention lol. Needless to say it wasn't a crowded day. Somehow I miss this entirely last time I was here. Not gonna make the same mistake! Yep, it's an empty day. I may be in the minority but I really like Riddler . . . Still have two sides dropping on such a dead day! This sign applies to anyone who rides that thing to the left. UGH! Who doesn't love a batman clone? The best ride in the park with no line? SIgn me up!!! Overall had a MUCH better day than I did the previous year I was here (there). <> Aside from theme parks Vegas is my second most favorite place to be! It has so much going on and it never seems to end. This was my second time going and I was determine to get the coasters at Adventure dome. Greetings from the Venetian! It's my birthday so what better way to enjoy than riding coasters! But first, drinks! Ok, lets head to the adventure dome . . . I'm amazed at how such a full size coaster fits in without looking cramped. It's your typical Arrow loop/screw but just in air condition lol and no line! Now onto the el loco . . . It was def an intense ride. One ride was enough (or it could have been the booze lol) So long Canyon Blaster . . . That night, for my birthday dinner, I decided on Giada. I really enjoyed it but it isn't a place i'd run back to . . . And complimentary breakfast at the Cromwell (were Giada is) was just what I needed after a night of drinking! Well, that's all the coasters trip for me for 2016 as I am about to have my right foot reconstructed! Wish me luck (well belated luck)
jarmor
Fast Forward to 325 and you know what that means! On the outside I feel great but internally my foot is still healing but I gotta ride some coasters. . . What has the park become?!?!? Well shat! This year (last) the park did quite a bit cosmetic changes and brought to life a new County Fair set in the 1950's. Let's look at some of the changes to the park. The park opened last year (2015) with a new entry way and no metal detectors. Well that didn't last long. They also removed the planter and made it more open and "inviting" Oh, Hi! Still a great ride! In continuing to open up the area and removed Panda Express . . . Don't worry, they just moved it to a larger area. Still (or was???) the best flat in the park to me . . . A lot is changing . . . hummm. I see you Top Gun! I guess a show goes on there? Wait what?!?!? Lets hope they this structure So many markers and things! Back to you in a little while. Burying all the mistakes of the previous park owners? The new County Fair Is it . . . is it . . . Foreshadowing??? I've never been on one and I won't be today either. Such a classic feel back here. Even down to the crispy yet sooo soft corn dogs! The new theme fits very well. Been a while since i've been on one of these. Well that's all folks! Canobie Coaster
Great report! Seeing what they did with the County Fair area is pretty cool. I really like that Whip truck.
jarmor
May 19, 2017 . . . Found a great RT flight to San Antonio so I figured it was a good idea to take advantage of the texas parks! First stop . . . Six Flags over Texas, where it all began! But first, this lookED promising. Ok, let's get back. . . Despite several school groups being at the park, I figured i'd make the best of it. Just in case you didn't know what year it was. So far i'm digging the park! To my suprise, I totally forgot this park has a justice league dark ride. For it being my very first one, I was really impressed with the entire experience. Lot's of big towers here . . . For some reason, Panda Express inside parks taste so good to me . . . But forget that, I spy something much more pleasing . . . The one that started it all! And me! Such a pity they were only running one train! But overall I liked it. See. Lets move on to another texas legend. I was surprised again to see another dark ride at the park! Just look at it. I was really looking forward to shockwave! And it didn't disappoint! Heading into what may be one of the best Gotham City's I may get my chance to test out the new Joker! With no line! Which makes me happy. Not sure if i'm still in Gotham or not but . . And they "duel"! For the longest I always wanted to ride a Mr' Freeze coaster. They were created during my development of my love for coasters and I finally got that chance! Overall had a great day at the park, despite that droves of kids that had no care in the world. See you in the next update. But first . . . After hearing so much about them, I had to check out WhatAburger. I was highly satisfied! I would say I need one back home but will take away the charm . . .
Canobie Coaster
Nice report! I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciates that old Yosemite Sam dark ride. I had no clue it even existed until my visit last year. It's such an odd ride to see at a Six Flags park.
jarmor
^ I was definitely pleasantly surprised for it! Darks rides are, to me, a rarity at large chain parks so I was very pleased. Headed back to San Antonio to experience Fiesta Texas! Let me say I LOVE water parks . . . But to my dismay, the new water coaster wasn't ready! Oh well, maybe next time. Well, i'm here. Oh, here I am . . . I think i'm gonna pass. [ I really like the environment of this park . . . attachment=9]IMG_20170520_1044488.jpg[/attachment] Character spotting! Ok, i'm gonna be honest lol the real reason i'm here! And . . . My interest in rattler started with the movie blank check (as i'm sure most of you too) and now look at it! Just incase you needed a reminder. Lets go! Overall I really liked it. I think I liked it more than NTG but that could be because I had multi rides on it vs the one on NTG. DId I mention I loved the setting of this park? Hi . . . These things are every where! The one that started it all. And the most photogenic (to me) of all floorless coasters. *proof* I have to say, despite the on and off thunderstorms I have a very enjoyable time at SFFT and cant want to go back. ytterbiumanalyst
Fiesta Texas is a great park, love how they use the quarry to their advantage. Funny how the parks Six Flags buys seem to have better theming than the ones they built themselves.... That shirt is hilarious.
