At one point, they each had Gerstlauer spinning coasters. They both also have Vekoma Boomerangs.

California's Great America and Dollywood?

They both have big coasters that have exceeded the 400 foot tall mark

Both are former Six Flags parks, and both have SLCs called Mind Eraser.

They each have very early 1999/2000 hyper coasters.

Oh, and ^^^^^ SFDK does not have a coaster names Patriot.
