Dark Ride Paradise - Wild Bill's Nostalgia Center

I never had the chance to visit his store nor met him, but he reminds me of several people I used to know over the years that have passed on to that great amusement park up in the sky.

 

Hats off to you, Wild Bill, for your life, your dreams, and your everlasting legacy!!!

The dark ride cars and whatnot were also up for sale back in September and gee I hope there wasn't any litigation over those:

That sucks to hear. These types of things are hard to keep going without the driving personality behind them.

 

It was a very cool looking place though, and it's fun to think about what almost was. Maybe someday it will inspire someone else. I know I think about turning my house into a giant dark ride all the time, partially thanks to this thread.
