Netflix - Series of Unfortunate Events

Postby SharkTums » Fri Jan 13, 2017 3:52 pm

KT is super into this book series and was horrified by the 2004 Jim Carrey movie adaptation. Fast forward to today and Netflix has done an amazing job bringing the books to life.

If you ever read these books, or you're into dystopian, steam punk Young Adult fiction I would highly recommend you check it out. In addition to Neil Patrick Harris, there are some other surprise big stars too.

So, who else is watching?

I'll be watching! Just realised that Joan Mary Cusack from Shameless was casted for the show!

I had sex with N-Tag before you did.

I've watched both episodes of Bad Beginning and Reptile Room so far. Loving how these are done! And I think NPH is great as Olaf. Mr. Poe makes me laugh and I immediately recognized Joan Cusack from School of Rock in there too!

I just swallowed a whole donkey!

Just finished the second episode of the reptile room and am finding it delightfully weird so far. Nph is way better than jim Carey and it's nice and spread out. The movie felt really rushed.
