Wow! I knew about the dog fart coaster, but I didn't know the entire park is like that. Wonder what the candy tastes like :b

The fun-having on this trip looks absurd. Must do the next Scandi trip. Can't wait to see what's coming!

(Also, :airtime: for the Man Show shout-out.)

Today's update! Hansa Park!

Image
Today, the TPR Scandi Tour has snuck into Germany to visit Hansa Park!

Image
Starting our morning with ERT on Fluch Von Novgorod - an amazingly themed Gerstlauer Euro Fighter!

Image
Novgorod is heavily themed, a bit like the Mummy coasters at Universal parks.

Image
The coaster starts with some impressive "dark ride" scenes telling the story of the castle and the curse.

Image
Then it launches into a twisted Euro-Fighter layout. The last half of the ride is all in the dark!

Image
Hansa Park General Manager Andreas talked to us about their 2015 Gerstlauer hyper coaster.

Image
The new ride will go in this area and will be a giant enclosed hyper coaster!!

Image
Karnan will be partially enclosed, including the first drop, in a giant building covering 30,000 cubic meters.

Image
Hansa Park has (what I think) is the only double Bayern Curve ever made. Is there another one of these rides?

Image
Nessie is a classic Schwarzkopf looper, and it's GREAT!

Image
Birds eye view of Nessie at Hansa Park!

Image
Nessie is one of those coasters where you get eaten by an animal!

Image
OM NOM NOM!!!

Image
They just don't make 'em like this anymore! ;)

Image
The Western "theming" at Hansa Park! (And I did follow the instructions...)

Image
Making our own bread on a stick at Hansa Park!

Image
Garbles! Suck on my stick!!!

Image
Hansa Park has one of those weird spinning bell flat rides. Seems a bit low capacity for this park, but looks cool!

Image
Inside the bell ride at Hansa Park.

And here is a video!

Image
I kinda think that KidTums really liked Nessie at Hansa Park today!

Image
Fresh made crepes at Hansa Park! Sooooo good!!!

Image
Many of the attractions here at Hansa Park are VERY well themed! Wish some of our American parks would take note! ;)

Image
Here's the map for Hansa Park. It's big!

Image
Hansa Park started to re-do their front entrance area a couple of years ago. Here's the old and new. It's amazing!

Image
We are in Germany eating German pretzels! Yum!

Image
Caption This!!!

Image
In case you forget what day you came to the park...

Image
Had a great visit to Hansa Park! These beautiful European parks really pay attention to detail!

Image
Crashed out on the TPR Scandi Tour bus! Gotta catch up on sleep when you can!

Image
Poor, Shirley... Hope he wakes up soon!

And that's all from Day 4! Remember, to follow us on Twitter @themeparkreview http://www.twitter.com/themeparkreview for live tweeting!

Skyline Park still has a double Bayern Curve as well, though it doesn't have the enclosed section.

Always have wanted to visit Hansa but didn't get the chance the last time I was in Europe. Loving the updates!

Hmmm.... an enclosed hyper coaster drop. Interesting......
The Mr Freeze coasters should have speakers playing the sentence: "Let's kick some ice!" right before each launch

What does one say after riding a Batman clone?
The G force is strong with this one.

Wow, Hansa Park really seems to have kicked up the theming. The Euro Fighter looks amazing and the future hyper really intrigues me.
All clear....

Dispatch, enjoy your ride.

Same here. Enclosing a hyper coaster sounds extremely expensive.

It is also Gerstlauer's first hyper coaster, right?
Top 10: 1. The Voyage 2. Outlaw Run 3. Millennium Force 4. SkyRush 5. Maverick
6. El Toro 7. Fahrenheit 8. Storm Runner 9. Thunderbird 10. Powder Keg

I remember how Fulch von Novgorod was running during TPR's first Scandi Trip in 2009, even though it wasn't finished. The queue was still covered in plywood, the theming was still being installed, and even the exterior of the building was still being bricked over. Even then, it was still a great ride. Nice to see it finished.

I liked Hansa a lot--it's a beautiful park.
