Vintage Electric Fan Restoration (Before and After)

So while my main passion are Roller Coasters I do have other interests. However these other interests are just as nerdy! I Love finding and restoring Antique/vintage electric fans! I collect and sell them. So I decided to start uploading my work into this post for the few who might find it interesting. Enjoy

BEFORE: This is a Super Lectric Fan. It was manufactured in Cape Girardeau, MO in the 50's

It was actually in fairly good condition when I found it.

I love the cage on this fan!

Luckily Not the most difficult project I've done.

AFTER: Seeing Red?

While this model never actually came in red I do think it suits it well!

The motor is now fully functional. Runs and oscillates perfectly!

This beauty should run now for another 60 years!

Wow, that was so impressive to get hit with, LOL!

I am in awe, man. Excellent hobby you have there.

And I love RED, so that was a Big PLUS in my books, heh.

Hoping to get in touch with grapeslie! I'm a fellow vintage fan restorer, and I'm doing a fan similar to your SuperLectric. I actually chose to use the same color paint as you did with your project.

My question is: what did you use around the base of the fan?

Thank you. I would really appreciate you getting back to me!
