my Husband bought me a box of chocolates that he left for me when I woke up today (along with a card).

usually chocolates are a no-no, but I guess since we're going to be on a cruise very soon, "bad for you" food is ok this year. . LOL

We went out to Cafe Cusco, a Peruvian restaurant in downtown Springfield, and one of the best places to eat in the Ozarks. Ceviche tacos :lover: They also serve Mother's and White River, two local Springfield breweries (the latter is just right down the street).

Here's a good article about the place:

^ Missouri. It pays to read the article.

We celebrated over the weekend because we never actually go out to eat on Valentines Day because its impossible to find a table anywhere. So Saturday evening we checked out this new seafood bar that recently opened near us called Bait & Switch and we are crazy in love with it. Its a 5 minute walk from my house and likely gonna be my new neighborhood go-to. We had great food, got sh*tty drunk and apparently came home and had a private dance party followed by some other fun things. ;) Yesterday morning she got a card and chocolates from me. She also gave me some chocolates. Last night I bought her a pizza and a bottle of wine and we laid around enjoying that in our pajamas and were fast asleep by 10pm cause we're old. lol.
