Nrthwnd
I'm assuming that this commercial is in the U.S. as well as in Canada, but there's this new commercial for KFC "supposedly" explaining why the word "Chicken" couldn't be used in years-gone-by commercials. Which of course, the chicken growers laugh at. What I remember, is that KFC started sticking to the initials, because they wanted to avoid using the word FRIED. Which was a sort-of no-no in good food eating, way back when. Still is, I guess. But, IMhO, this current commercial is crap. P.S. ^ Gus' chicken looks awesome, Bert! P.P.S. And we still like Church's the best, and avoid Chic-Fil-A like The (anti gay) Plague.
larrygator
Although there are no longer any locations in New York City, I miss Bojangles. Great seasoning.

Pandora's Box
Probably KFC - I think I haven't been to two of those mentioned in the list. Chick-Fil-A's sandwiches are pretty good though, wouldn't call it marvelous fare but it's still a cut above. Popeye's is pretty nice, too.
ytterbiumanalyst
and avoid Chic-Fil-A like The (anti gay) Plague. Agreed. I haven't been in a Chik-Fil-A since the incident.
Canobie Coaster
I'm going with Chick-fil-a. The food you receive actually looks like what you see in the pictures and it's delicious. Only problem is that I always seem to pass them on Sundays.
joelwee
If we're talking about fried chicken restaurants in general, Mrs. Knott's Chicken Restaurant wins for me, hands down. There's nothing like finishing off a fantastic chicken dinner with a slice of boysenberry pie. If we're just focusing on chains, my favorite is Chick-Fil-A. The sandwiches are quite tasty and not too greasy, and they have a decent selection of breakfast foods, too. My one complaint is the price - but you get what you pay for. I also really like Raising Cane's; I tried it for the first time when I visited AZ this past New Year's; great food, great service, great pricing. They recently expanded into CA, but the closest one is an hour away. KFC and Popeye's were pretty tasty, but my stomach wasn't a fan of either.
