Is there an increase in young girls liking roller coasters?

So I have created a Facebook page just for fun really, and I am shocked at the main target market that the page has attracted. I now have over 160 page likes in the week the page has been running and out of that, 53% of that is girls aged 13-17, however boys in that age category is only 8% of my total page likes! 83% of all people are girls, so only 17% are boys. This completely contradictory what I would expect and I was wondering if anyone had statistics like this. If so, please share them!

^ It sounds like you don't have the same pull with the ladies that Henry does. Maybe he can give you some tips or put in a good word with the hordes of females that find his coaster content irresistible. I bet they just melt when he starts talking about his coaster count.

A 160 person sample size really isn't representative of an entire community.

Yep, definitely a sampling error going on here. It's interesting that he got the demographics that he did, but they definitely don't reflect the enthusiast community as a whole.

Oh yeah, if there's anything that ladies love most it's a high coaster count, right?

53 is not great! I don't think that will pull anything. Thanks to that other person who shared their stats. It is interesting in my opinion.

Good idea. *pours the vodka.*

Anyone else want a vodka and sprite??

Anyone who spends enough time around or listening to me ends up having alcohol problems. Hmmm... Maybe I should make a graph to see the statistics of it??

If you don't like my threads, don't read them. It is as simple as that. It is quite annoying thinking every time I see a new post that someone may have posted something worthwhile to the discussion which I personally feel is not dumb, and then seeing people saying they need to kill themselves, just because I was looking for some statistics to either support or contradict my original point. I did not post this in the main forum, nor have I asked on your mental health after reading one of my posts, so there is no need for those replies. I try to joke, and one comment about needing a drink is funny, but it gets tiresome.

Now if you have something to constructively add to the thread, that is fine, but I do not want page after page of pictures of Vodka and Clorox.
