Going snowboarding in a couple of weeks - haven't been on a board in a couple of years so I'm not expecting it to go well!!

If the snow is ok, we probably go this weekend. It would also be my first time of this season.

Going snowboarding next week for the second time ever. I did 'ok' for an old lady's first attempt last year so I'm hoping to make some progress this time!

I get paid to ski and snowboard. . . . really, it's true. I teach all ages and levels, although I generally enjoy teaching kids.

I also prefer boarding. I started out as a boarder, decided skiing looked fun and tried it several years later. I enjoy both, but prefer the board.

Attached is a little action shot of me

Either take a lesson at the resort's ski school or have a friend/family member teach you if one of them knows how to ski and is comfortable teaching you. It can take a little time to get the hang of it, but it's a lot of fun once you do! :)

(and it's much better than snowboarding ;) )
