osm
Four Seasons. We got a discount from a friend once when we went to Boston, and it was just amazing. But for non-ridiculously expensive chains, I would have to go with Hyatt.
the ghost
I am a big fan of the Hilton chains. A bit pricey, but VERY nice! My favorite hotels however are the AK Lodge as well as the DVC Baylake Tower... where we stayed for a night!
MeMeMe
I think the only actual chain hotel I've been to is the Burlington, MA Hilton Garden Inn. It could have been better. I much preferred hotels like the Ottawa Elgin or the hotel in Paris near Rome Metro whose name is hidden somewhere in the back of my mind.

Evanaj15
I like the Embassy Suites, because last time i was there, they had complementary snacks and breakfast. I like the Disney hotels because Disney is just not to be messed with.
805Andrew
I've only been in one Outrigger, but it was one of my favorite hotels I've been in: beautiful grounds, spacious rooms, and I can't complain about being on Poipu Beach in Kauai. I also really like Marriott and Hilton in general. Hilton's Homewood Suites is great for large and comfy rooms, and breakfast/dinner (w/ beer) included. Courtyard by Marriott is probably my favorite 3 Star chain. I'm staying in a Doubletree for the first time in two weeks when I go down to Orange County, hopefully I like it. Sir Clinksalot
^ Which Doubletree are you staying in? The "Suites" or the one by the Block at Orange? Both are very nice. You will be happy with either IMO. Hilton: I don't think I've ever stayed in a bad Hilton (well, maybe the "Paris Hilton" lol). I really also like DoubleTree and there is a REALLY awesome Hilton Suites near Disneyland/The Big A. The only Hilton I've stayed in that I didn't really care for was the Hilton Palmer House in Chicago. The hotel itself was nice, but he rooms were REALLY small. Mariott: I've mostly stayed in Courtyard's due to work stuff, and the Mariott Conference Center in Stone Mtn. GA is awesome. I have stayed at a couple "highly mediocre" Fairfield/Residence Inn's, but for the most part Mariott is pretty decent.

You will be happy with either IMO. I'm staying at the Doubletree Santa Ana/Orange County Airport. I bid $50 a night on Priceline and they took my bid. It came to $60 a night with taxes and fees. If the hotel charges for parking (I think they do) then its more. I'm staying two nights (Fri/Sat) and splitting the room with a friend. We're going to the Epicenter concert in Irvine and we will be going to Wild Rivers the next day (last chance). If the TPR event at Knott's was one night earlier we would have gone to that as well, but we already had our mind set on Epicenter. We may still do the Knott's Haunt on that Friday night if I can convince my friend to do it (and fork over the admission ticket for it).
gisco
Is Disney a hotel chain?
gerstlaueringvar
Both Chimelong hotels are very good. I think the two of them can make a chain right? Hilton might be the one I like the most outside of Chimelong, Drury is pretty good as well.
805Andrew
I stayed at my second Doubletree this Summer in downtown Philadelphia and I can say I really like Doubletree, especially the cookies they hand you in the lobby.
YoshiCraft2011
Hilton, Hilton, Hilton. Hilton Hawaiian Village - It's like a Vegas resort without the casino. Lots of shops, lots of pools, a big lagoon, and penguins! Unfortunately, I've heard that the penguins are now gone, but they were nice. The views from the Rainbow Tower are excellent and I remember that the room itself was pretty nice. DoubleTree Waikiki - It's a nice hotel. Small, but good. Complimentary breakfast buffet, a nice suite, and the free cookies! They were so good and nutty. Unfortunately, it was raining when we took a visit to the pool, and I don't even remember the view. However, the DoubleTree is a good hotel. Hilton San Gabriel - The room, while a bit small, was nicely decorated. The pool was pretty decent and it was within walking distance to a number of shops. I liked this hotel, and, while it isn't the best, it's solid.
Jew
The only chain I am loyal to is MGM resorts in Vegas. Other than that, I mostly just go on price...to me a Hilton, Marriot, Hyatt, etc. are all close to the same in quality.
TPDave
I'm a big premier inn fan in the UK. It's a budget chain but you know what you're getting and I've never been disappointed!
